Poor the Moyes.

Everton would be mad to accept anything under £35m and will probably get as much as £40m.

Two good players.

Can someone explain why we're meant to be laughing at them?

As Spoin said, valuation. They had £12million for Baines rejected not so long ago, meaning Fellaini, who's only just had a £23million release clause expire, must be valued at most as £16million in this deal. Plus it smacks of desperation.

If I was Everton I'd reject it. Fellani has a 22m buyout clause so that means they're only bidding 6m for baines.

Fellaini's buyout clause expired last week. That's why all the blues are in uproar. Moyes knew about this 24 mill clause, has waited till it expired, then put this bid in. Apparently the bid is 16 mill for Fellaini and 12 mill for Baines. Everton paid 15 mill for Fellaini and he's a much better player now then when they signed him.

So basically, Moyes is a fucking cheeky cunt!

So if the clause expired that means Everton are it compelled to sell at any price.

No the other way round. If the clause amount was met, they had to sell. Martinez was on the radio saying everyone at the club is relieved now that the clause release date has expired.

Surely Felliani will be mounting a legal challenge to get this clause looked at? Oh wait hang on...

Can't see them selling him for any less than 25 though, the fans would go fucking mental

well we can hardly criticise moyes considering rodgers did similar to get allen . I wonder if baines and fellaini would work out as well for him as allen did rodgers.

But by waiting for it to expire Everton can now demand a minimum of £30m for fellani if they want to. There's no way that Everton will sell him for cheaper thats' for sure..

Well it was rejected out of hand publicly so there's no chance they'll get them at anywhere near that price.

What i don't understand is that manure already had £12m bid for baines rejected and they've come back again with the exact same bid. What did they think that all of a sudden Everton would change their mind?

I suspect they're trying in on cos they know how financially fucked Everton are, Moyes especially, & think the large figure may tempt them.

Also, the more derisory the figure they start with the better the chance of a lower figure.

Same as haggling over a car etc, if you want a grand off you come in a few grand lower to start with.

It is a pretty cheeky late bid IMO and Everton should definitely reject it. Both are very good players and will strengthen United who are already a very good team. I would be delighted if we had either of them at Anfield...

I really don't get the laughing bit tbh....

Criminally underbidding. I'd love Coleman at Anfield.

Surprised they don't go for Baines and Barkley instead
