The weird thing is how hard it is to tell them apart. They look the same, they play the same. It's like cloning gone horribly wrong.

Wait, I thought Lucarse was a good player, and Crapsen could shield our defence well?

That's what I was told.

They're both fucking cunts

Can you imagine what the Scum will do to us if they start together. I predict 5 goals to them.

there was this moment in the second half when both of them were holding and a birmingham player walked past them in the middle with the ball. fuck!!

Cunt 2?

So we have now started numbering them like royalty....*cries*

Id like to think thats the last we will see of that partnership for a while, but it really wouldnt suprise me to see them start against United.

We will get hammered if they do. In all seriousness, they'll put 4 or 5 past us.

The ironic thing is that with 2 supposed defensive didfielders, one would think theoretically that teams would have less chances against us.

But in reality, it works the opposite way. With 2 defensive midfielders, we are just waiting to be attacked. And when we do wrestle the ball away from the opposition, they are both just sitting there, one the toes of our CBs making no movements going forward, forcing us to go long or sideways. It's just so horrible to watch.

Giggs and Scholes are about 70 years old combined, but yet United get more out of those 2 than we do out of younger, fitter players. We're seriously lacking in talent, in midfield.

Two DMs who are shit at both tackling and positioning.

Oh, and fucking slow too.

.. and who can hardly move.

It truly is mind boggling how we have such poor footballers at our club. From the 'best midfielder in the world', to one of the worst in the top flight. Bowyer and Gardner seemed more talented footballers than our two. Yet, our two are supposed to be internationals.

In truth, they're 'defensive midfielders' only in the sense that they offer nothing going forward. They're not actually any good at defending at all.

Yes, they have actually created what I suspect may be a new type of midfielder: the FSM, or Fucking Shit Midfielder.

Or as it will come to be known as in the media: The Lucas Role

*puts on helmet and enters thread*

Poulsen was very poor today. Apart from a few positive clever passes towards the very end he did nothing really but move the ball around and 'look' football.

He is however a rather clever footballer why I'm going to stick my neck out and say he could still become an asset.

He can pass and he knows how to position himself (at least that's what I thought). I think everyone could see how bringing on a more dynamic midfielder in Raul gave a few players more space and options - Poulsen beeing one - and he kind of improved instantly. With a bit of luck he even would've had an assist after the 'throw-in combo'near the end.

Masher alongside Lucas was just as horrid an experience to witness at times if anyone dares to remember and whilst you can't put all the blame on Lucas it's obvious - at least to me - that he's probably the less talented player of the three. He can pass and he can tackle but I still don't know where he's best utilized as he lacks sheer ability both defensively and in attack. My guess is that his role at the club is probably soon coming to an end.

Whether Poulsen will be able to distance himself from the 'cunt'-jokes I don't know but I'm absolutely certain that in Poulsen - Meireles - Gerrard or Poulsen - Gerrard - Cole we'll see a far more potent trio than anyone including Lucas and maybe even more so than some containing Masher albeit the latters obvious more dynamic and powerful play. The 'idea' of bringing in a DM in the real meaning of the word is to free Gerrard and Raul or whomever playing and this is where Poulsen for all the early slacking still can be an asset.

PS Can we all agree that to single out one or even two players today for beeing pisspoor is kind of illogical as everyone par REINA was poor to awful? Good then.

Worst of all, these two were the central midfield of choice of Hodgson today when he had other options. He then kept it that way at half-time after they'd put in quite possibly the worst central midfielding shift ever seen.

Fucking hell Roy.

That's spot on and we kind of agreed upon on that Pre-Match too if I remember correctly. Would've made a hell of a lot more sense to keep Aqua and flog Lucas.

I posted the same thing before the game: Cunt 1 and Cunt 2 in CM together is close to, if not *the* worst midfield in our history

So no real surprise with how they played.

Hoepfully one or both will get injured or leave soon, and never play for us again.

we spent 12 million pounds on them.

One has only played 4 games for us however and is a good footballer no matter how poor he looked today. At the very least could you give him ten games to disqualify himself?

*Not that it matters but he's probably alraedy played more games than Aqua managed.

i haven't heard anyone say he's any good apart from you. the general consensus is that he was decent about 3 years ago.

Aqua played miles better in his few games for us. Took initiativs å bit like Meireles today. Looked interesed in aqtually doing something with the ball, and looking interested in getting the ball. Poulsen and Lucas seen happy enough if they avoid loosing it. Plays it backward, and avoid it if they can. They can both fuck off as not worthy wearing our shirt...

You've quite clearly blocked out Aquas first couple of performances.

Anyways let's all go for Poulsens throat but can we at least give him a few more games to settle in?

He's played agisnst Arsenal (h), Brum (a) and Trabzonspor twice so it's not like he's already integrated in the team.
