How about splitting the Bundesliga stuff in its own thread, mods?

Back to the EPL, I'm loving Mourinho's post-match comments:

Maybe I'm dancing on his grave somewhat prematurely, but losing Manchester derby to Pep at home has got to sting badly and he responded the way he did at Chelsea last season – by ripping into his own players, publicly. It's almost as if the "first season Mourinho" (one who makes gutsy, but correct decisions and quickly builds a winning machine) lasted exactly 3 games and now it jumped directly from 1st season to 3rd season Mourinho.

Didn't see the game, but sounds like all the issues I was talking about before the start of the season – the lack of pace in the front 4 (when Martial and Rashford don't play), Mkhitaryan's ineffectiveness on the wing, Pogba's discomfort with playing in a midfield 2 – are starting to show against good opposition. I can only hope other clubs' managers quickly learn how to beat this United team.

From what I saw Mkhitaryan at least deserved singling out and no wonder he got subbed at half-time.

Hope it continues.

Mkhitaryan is in a quandary because he should be playing at AM but United have Rooney and Pogba, even Mata, who are also vying for that slot (or should be).

I was thinking the same. Really pointing fingers on individuals without naming them (still subbed them at half time) publicly..... He has not too many strong characters in the dressing room (Zlatan of course, and Rooney who will become an issue) so this will be interesting to watch.

Not taking any responsibility for poor tactics, only taking responsibility for picking underperformers!

[article]Away supporters throwing objects at fans seated in the tier below them may not sound too good but ADO Den Haag fans at Feyenoord proved otherwise. The sides met in the Dutch league on Sunday and during the match Den Haag supporters threw hundreds of cuddly toys on to the Feyenoord supporters below them.

In the buildup to the match, visiting supporters were encouraged to bring soft toys to throw at the home fans and they did not disappoint. The Feyenoord fans on the receiving end were children from Rotterdam’s Sophia Children’s Hospital, the oldest children’s hospital in the Netherlands, who walked on to the pitch with the teams before the kick-off.

“Feyenoord hopes that all children and staff can enjoy a carefree day at De Kuip,” read a statement on the club’s website.

The hosts won 3-1, with the former Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt scoring for Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side, who are top of the table after winning all five of their opening matches.

In January, Den Haag banned 22 supporters over alleged racial abuse towards the Ajax midfielder Riechedly Bazoer.[/article]

You have to realise what a bunch of hooligans ADO generally are to appreciate that properly. It's about the equivalent of Millwall turning up with cuddly toys.

Question - isn't Costa's 2nd goal dangerous play? Taylor's head is there - what is the rule in this situation?

Chelsea's defense looks very shaky - odd.
