WOW, what a derby. No, the other one.
Watford just came back from being 2 nil down.

Oh, and Benteke scored for CP.

Long has missed two great chances to win this for Southampton. Watch Arse get a 93 min winner now.

Bobby Madley. Yet another horrific English ref.

Koscielny down in the penalty box after getting kicked in the head. Ref doesnt stop the play while he's down right infront of goal and Arsenal get a penalty seconds later.

Best league in the World? Pfft. Most shit refs in Europe more like.

Non PL but Pellegrino's Alaves are winning 2-1 away at Nou Camp against a weakened Barcelona.

[article]Substitute Joel Pohjanpalo scored his first Bundesliga hat trick as Bayer Leverkusen came from behind to win 3-1 against Hamburg.

The Finn, introduced from the bench in the 72nd minute, levelled seven minutes later and then struck twice in stoppage time to earn Leverkusen their first win of the season.[/article]

100 - Joel Pohjanpalo scored the 100th hat-trick in BL history. Hat-trick.
2 – Joel Pohjanpalo is the first player in BL history to score 2 goals in stoppage time. Record breaker.
4 - With his 4th attempt of the season, Joel Pohjanpalo scored his 4th goal of the season. Ice cold.

How about splitting the Bundesliga stuff in its own thread, mods?

Back to the EPL, I'm loving Mourinho's post-match comments:

“In the first half they were much better than us. We started the game bad,” he told Sky Sports.
“We started the game with some players really below their normal level in terms of their concentration and mental availability to play a game of this speed.
“You need to be sharp the way you think and the way you play. One or two players were below that level and the team paid for it.
"Honestly, I have two or three players in the first half who, if the game is now and I know what is going to happen, I don't play them, but this is football and sometimes players disappoint managers and sometimes players give us great surprises.”
Ultimately, though, Mourinho took responsibility.
“Therefore it is my fault, I am the manager and it was my fault because it was my choice.”

Maybe I'm dancing on his grave somewhat prematurely, but losing Manchester derby to Pep at home has got to sting badly and he responded the way he did at Chelsea last season – by ripping into his own players, publicly. It's almost as if the "first season Mourinho" (one who makes gutsy, but correct decisions and quickly builds a winning machine) lasted exactly 3 games and now it jumped directly from 1st season to 3rd season Mourinho.

Didn't see the game, but sounds like all the issues I was talking about before the start of the season – the lack of pace in the front 4 (when Martial and Rashford don't play), Mkhitaryan's ineffectiveness on the wing, Pogba's discomfort with playing in a midfield 2 – are starting to show against good opposition. I can only hope other clubs' managers quickly learn how to beat this United team.

I was just going to post the same thing. The MoTD coverage won't have helped him either.

I actually think he's so bitter towards Guardiola that all it will take is a period where City are above them by an increasing margin for him to self destruct. It could be over very quickly as you say.

I'm waiting to see what happens when Ginsoak and Slur Bobby Charlton start advising Mourinho on his team selections and tactics.

😀

That Joe Allen from Stoke looks like a busy player, yeah they got spanked but Allen looked involved.

Also poor Shay Given, he's too old for this shit.
