I was hoping for Dowd, Clattenburg or Mark Halsey, so this is definitely good news IMO.

I quite like his approach - you can see he likes a bit of banter with the players but at the same time isn't a mug.

I couldn't believe how many decisions went Suarez' way on Sunday after the past few weeks so I'm hoping he behaves up until the final and allows Dowd to take a neutral stance towards him.

HC: Everton themselves helped with that, particularly Heitinga who was a cnut all afternoon. Young's antics for ManUre against the Villa will also help remind people how ridiculous it always was for his manager and others to try and paint Suarez as being by far the worst such offender.
