Pep's gone mad

I didn't know you could sportswash with your tongue without smelling the shit.

Your comment a few days ago wrt cheat codes on video games was just perfect.
It sums up Pep's ridiculous approach in a nutshell.
I think the only way he can change the perception is if he changes course - and takes a struggling giant with little money and makes them kings again.
Maybe PSG or Juve?

Leave the man alone, Pep obviously is just giddily sharing the results of his Mourinho Masterclass evening classes

I'd annoying because he's not wrong. Difference is we still had a limit on what we could spend

I read a recent article where he was saying that he would never have stayed with City if he thought they were guilty of an financial irregularities but as CAS had found them innocent on appeal he felt vindicated in staying.
Now we all know that CAS didn't find Man City innocent of irregularities, only that the time frame for prosecution by UEFA had passed and therefore their appeal against the bans on their participation in European competition were upheld.
I wonder if Man City have got wind of a negative ruling in their direction in the ongoing Premier League investigation into their dealings and all of these ramblings by Pep is the start of the push back campaign.

As if Norwich's or Leicester's spending was ever likely to match LFC's. Compare us with ManUre or the Arse and I wonder where the balance of spending would lie. Funny how the slimy coot didn't reference clubs like that.

Nice one Pep, apples and oranges etc.
Didn’t realise we put a whole load of money through hidden thirdparties, was funded by the British gov or our current manager was also an ambassador for South Africa. What a cretin.
Spare the whole someone look at us, pls respect us because we are a credible club rhetoric…

But he's not mouthing off looking for the respect and adulation for himself, it's all for the players. 🙂🙂

According to The Athletic, Pep had to be talked into signing Haaland as he felt Kane was a better fit.
But the Sporting Director talked him into it and convinced him.

That’ll be a reason why he’s gone all bonkers and could signal him walking away. Into PSG.

I want him to stay because he is getting away with his brand of football to easily. Long ago that sort of tikki takaa shit would get you half a season of success (maybe) in the English league. I find it appalling that the other teams except a few have not even tried to get their players to counter such a style. I have said it many times, they are one press away from always conceding a goal if the opposition can manage it. Its lazy managers and lazy players that keep giving in to that bollix.

Fuck that shit. Whatever you say about him, he's a seriously good manager. I want him gone.

That’s probably true, actually. Kane is a much better passer of the ball. Haaland will be a plan B in many games under Guardiola, I think.

I think he'll be on the treatment table a lot. But if not, he strikes me as someone who'll get all stroppy if he isn't in the first team all the time.

Well, I think Rurik has this one right. It may well be that Haaland will start the first few games but I maintain the jury's out on the extent to which tiki-taka will suit him.

We should sign Kane when Conte goes. It'll finally drive Pep insane.

Sky reporting Guardiola has confirmed he will not discuss extending his stay with City u til his current deal runs out.

He also reacted to questions about CL performance by saying he won it with 7 academy players at Barca.

How many years ago Pep?

Back when he promoted youth rather than buying £50+ strikers I presume.

Maybe he should go back to his blueprint.
