Finally appeared the best Casillas, who stopped a penalty and made two crucial to Paraguay , but it held: "I would have preferred a quieter game . It's been a heart attack. We have done our best game but is that a World Cup is well, difficult. Fortunately we have a total fluke goal achieved. Today could not be otherwise. "

Regarding the penalty that stopped at Cardozo, said: "Her nervousness and logical responsibility. I am pleased also by outsiders. Pepe Reina, who is a phenomenon, has told me where the stick Cardozo and right."
"Germany will not be easy in the semifinals. They come from England and Argentina beat a very young team. It is the best team in this World and

Fucking what?

Just say you read an article where it said Reina told Casillas where to dive and he was right.

Don't post that nonsense,

Thanks for the article Plates. Took a bit of effort to decode it, but the trouble you went through to put it up is appreciated. I did think it the Pepe must have schooled him when I saw him save it.

Has anyone else noticed how Pepe's one of the first guys (and always the first from the bench) to reach the goal scorer when they're celebrating a goal?

yea every time he'll be the first sub to get to the celebrations

if he's actually taking it upon himself to research the possible penalty takers despite it being unlikely he will play then it shows great professionalism

well done to him he should be first choice for spain anyway, casillas hasn't looked great

Casillas has looked very assured IMO, & made a fucking great stop today.

I rate Pepe higher, but casillas isnt doing anything to give him a chance to claim it IMO.

really? i didn't pay a lot of attention to the match today, but i thought he's been doing what most keepers have punching stuff they should have caught etc, i sort of expected a bit better.

its probably bias though knowing who the no.2 is

Disagree. He has looked ropey as fuck, was clearly at fault for the goal against the Swiss (should have went with his hands instead of hid feet). He has also repeated this in the last 2 games, looking like an outfield player in goal rather than a goalie.

When Casillas saved it, he was pointing and shouting to someone on the side. I figured it would be Reina who'd advised him on saving penalties.

Class by Pepe.

However, if Spain get to a shootout, if I were del bosque, I'd bring pepe on in 129th minute

But the penalties would be over then ... 😉

Agreed. Casillas has indeed been very shaky.

Ok, I defer to you guys on this one, one thing I would say is very few keepers are catching even easy shots, the ball moves too much to make that an option. The other point's are valid enough & I was slightly drunk watching almost every Spain game!

Absolutely no need for this guff.

Reina wouldn't have fumbled the one when santa cruz should have scored. Reina has been better than casillas for at least a year or two now.

Agree with first para, and yes, Pepe's hard to miss. Watch him explode off the bench when they score. ;D

He posted a useless load of garbage. I understand its translated from a different language by an online free translator, but with a grand total of 53 posts and apparently nothing more to say on the matter than to post the article it seems a bit rich to be coddling to him as if he's brought us secret news and the return of Shankly and the revival of LFC as a competitor in the top flight.

A posters count should not determine if they are allowed to post something. 938 eh?

Cant believe that people still bang on about Casillias being the best in the world. He's incredibly dodgey. But Spain have their golden boys who wont be dropped, so, unfortunately for Reina, he wont get a look in.

Well he is the captain and he is a great keeper! Unfortunately he hasnt done anything that merits dropping him!

Well you seem to be the only one annoyed by it

I'm not debating the fact I'm over-reacting.

But its still stupid.

He's not looked reliable at all in this WC. They're my tip now Brazil are out, but if they don't win it'll more than likely be a Casillas blooper that does for them.
