I just googled for it. It is near 150,000. He is the fourth highest paid member of the Barca squad after Messi, Puyol, and Xavi.

Valdes is a very dodgy keeper.
How on earth he let Bellamy's header cross the line that time is beyond me.
 
Yeah hes been great this season, interesting to see Pep bringing more of his youth team players (Bojan,Busquets,Pedro) into the side, the amount of players they produce at the moment is crazy, Obviously it helps when your 1st team coach knows the youth setup like the back of his hand but clearly they have a great system in place and when you consider that Valdes,Puyol,Xavi,Iniesta and Messi have come through the system there, how much would you have to fork out to sign that lot ?

I've not seen it, but I bet Lucas' today for the second goal was better 🙂

I was at this Barca game over the weekend and Pedro was great.

However, Xavi's display was phenomenal and is the best performance I've ever seen live. That second goal was ridiculous.

Messi, by his standards, wasn't amazing but even so that was lightyears ahead of 99% of the stuff I've seen from any Liverpool player this year.

Thoroughly enjoyed it and the atmosphere was great, despite the Nou Camp not even near full capacity.
 
pedro scored a great goal against Madrid today - great touch to take him around Arbeloa and a great finish past Casillas. He may not be a 'kid' but this season they've found a very capable player from their youth system. He'll probably get 20-25 goals this season - which is quite an accomplishment.

None of 'THESE KIDS' are anything like babel or anything like this club has produced in the last 20 years. If they were, wed probably have ay least one old english first division to show for it!!
 
what a rise this kid has had in one year ... 20+ goals for Barcelona and replaces Torres in the starting line up in the semi finals of the World Cup ... How do they produce so many fucking quality players?

They pick loads of young players who show that they might have the chareteristics they want - decent touch, reasonably mobile, can read the game, like to pass the ball - and they train them in pass and move football.

Some of them turn out to be really good.
