It’s not the 2 games tiredness it’s the 3 games in 7 days.
They've had the same number of games in 7 days.

Mind you, Hodgson did rotate one or two midweek.

Klopp didn't have the chance. But he also didn't have to play Salah, Fabinho, Jota etc against Mittydland.

The fact that Salah may need a rest now today, because of the number of games he's played recently, is on Jurgen should we not win.

He reeeeeally didn't need to play in denmark

Just a little on Palace since some are making them out to be this extremely tough opponent, which at times they can be when left to play. That however is something we are unlikely to do but which Spurs' counter attacking system did to their detriment.

Home form : 2-2-2 (pts 1.33 per game, their away form is slightly better). Last Six at Home (last game first) : DLWDLW Last Six all matches (last game first) : DDWLLW. 3 wins in their last 11 PL matches. Today is their 3rd game in the past 7 days.

Home matches are mostly 4-4-2 double 6, sometimes 4-4-2. Expect to see the former today.

Last three Lineups (Benteke will be absent today as will be : Wickham, Kelly, Hennessy, Ferguson and Sakho). Seven players were ever-present : Benteke, Zaha, Eze, Milivojevic, McArthur, Van Aanholt and Kouyate.

Likely the same lineup today as versus West Ham with the exception of Ayew coming in for Benteke and Schlupp for Townsend.

Versus West Ham (A) 1-1

Versus Spurs (H) 1-1

Versus WBA (played with 10 men from 34 mins when the score was 1-1). Win 1-5.

They are a tough opponent when up for it, and they're not exactly in bad form. The head of steam they got up against spurs was apparent for all to see.

I can see them raising their game for us, and benteke being out is arguably a great boon for them, as they won't be pumping long balls constantly.

They were clinging on against Spurs, their keeper had to make a string of top saves to keep then in it

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Fabinho, Robertson, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Keita, Minamino, Mane, Firmino.
Subs: Adrian, Kelleher, Salah, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jones, Origi, R. Williams, Phillips, N. Williams.

They did, but all the pressure was from the palace attack. When the equaliser happened spurs turned it on again

I worry that without our shooting boots we might get caught out

I can’t remember the last easy game we had there regardless of their form.
