Rotation in order.

We could really do with winning the next 3 games to finally put some daylight between us and the rest.

How is it that we play late on a Wednesday then early on a Saturday?
I kinda know the answer but I still don't understand how idiotic the scheduling is.

Anyway, this is a potential banana skin. Palace have some creative and somewhat unpredictable players upfront. It's not an easy game at all.

We haven't played well away this season.
I really hope to see something different this time but with less than 3 days rest after a hard fought win against Spurs, I really don't feel confident of a win.

I say start with our best available players and hope for the best. No rotation.
After this game the players get a well earned 8 days rest.

Interesting that Klopp didn't make any subs tonight. I think the bench options would not have improved us.

I don’t want to see Origi or Minamino start. Fine with Neco replacing Trent, who is still way below his top form. Not sure if Jones needs a rest - he’s been playing a lot of football lately. Front 3 is irreplaceable at the moment. Hopefully Ox can make his comeback off the bench in this one.

Neco—————Hendo———-—Robertson
————Keita———-Wijnaldum———-
Salah———-—Firmino————Mane

Away form has been shite. Palace have been playing well. You know what that means.

Owl face implosion.

0-5. NVP to score a hat trick of thundering headers.

Zaha and eze are going to give us headaches. We'll be tired after such a strong performance. Not expecting much
They also played yesterday so hopefully it levels the playing field fitness-wise.

Yeah , don't forget they had a tough match against West ham last night

It's not like they're going into this in great form or with plenty of rest , benteke will miss it through getting a red last night too

Hard to see who we rotate here, I actually wouldn't be surprised if we save more rotation for the WBA & Newcastle games where we know it will be a parked bus and poor defences.

The midfield 3 were incredible last night - it might be too much for them to start again, but I'd like to see that if possible, with Naby/Taki brought on in second half of this, and then at the start for WBA/Newcastle which should see fresh legs by the time we take on Southampton.

Only change (if fit) I would do is Matip for Rhys.

Some of our challengers have some tough games so this is one I think holds even more importance to extend the gap at the top.

City vs Saints
Spurs vs Leicester
United vs Leeds
Chelsea vs West Ham

We've raised our game when needed, but have shown a significant drop against the lower teams.

Hopefully we've learned our lesson.

Expecting a similar team with more subs coming on. Might see Matip or Phillips for Williams as Palace usually a bit more physical.

We know that not only are Palace physical .. they are big and tall !

————---------—— Alisson

TAA ---- Phillips / Rhys --— Matip —- Robbo
(both are very good in the air)

——----------------— Fabinho

—--------— Hendo ------------- Jones

Salah —---------—- Firmino —-----— Mane

Keita (for Hendo) after 50-60 mins if all is going to plan (+2 goals), Ox (for Jones 70 mins) and Minamino (for Mane 80 mins).

I really hate this fixture, just hope we win because I know that the other contenders will be up for their game to make up for their recent fuck ups.

8 day break I think between this game and West Brom.
Start our best team - i.e. who played yesterday (only change I'd say are Matip, if healthy, for Williams) - and win the game.
If we're up 2/3-0 with 20 minutes to go, take off Gini & Mane

It’s not about the break after, it’s about the fact they will have very heavy legs.

We must rotate.

I think we will see Keita start and Fabs /Matip in the back (maybe Matip/Phillips).

Ox will come on on for Mané or Salah to prove he is alive in 88th minute.

Maybe Minamino for Keita after 60-70 min.

A bit nervous about this. Palace are big and physical and we'd have had only 48 hours of recovery.

I think Trent, Matip, Fabinho and Robbo have to play. Don't fancy Zaha and Eze going after Neco and Phillips.

Henderson and Wijnaldum are probably certs also given that we don't have any midfield cover. Keita or Minamino probably come in for Jones.

Again not many options to rotate up front either in the absence of Jota and Shaq. Origi causes the attack to be completely disjointed so I don't think Klopp will start him.

I simply can't see Klopp dropping Jones for Keita or Ox - a very fit youngster and has been playing superbly. Nice to have these options again!

He has been excellent but hes just 19 so he needs to be managed, he will have to sit out some of the upcoming games to avoid burning him out. I wouldn't be surprised if Keita comes in against Palace and Jones plays against Newcastle.

Aside from that not much we can do. Matip will come back in probably but its not like Williams depserately needs a rest.

We cant rotate Robbo, Gini, Hendo or any of the front 3 who probably need a break.
