Tricky to predict fellas, all competitions

Stevie and Torres in the top two maybe but then who for 3,4,5 out of babel, Keane, Riera, Yossi

then there will be a tough battle between carra, reina and Kuyt for the bottom place 😛

my predictions below..

1) Torres 22 (less than last year sorry)
2) Stevie 15
3) Keane 14
4) Babel 13
5) Riera 7

Enough goals to win anything big, maybe not :'(

Riera
Very bold.

Torres
Gerrard
Babel
Keane
Kuyt
I'd go for that as well. Maybe even with Babel outscoring Gerrard? I've got a good feeling about him hitting the net a lot this Season.

Hopefully Keane will come good too and with Riera giving the top 5 a push we could be destined for great things.

Torres
Gerrard
Babel
Keane
Kuyt
our bench warmer Ryan getting more than the missing piece of the jigsaw £20 million man Keane?, I hope you are wrong Mark

last season Keane and Berbatov had the highest combined goals tally for a strike partnership in the PL

So he should be our second top scorer, I only put him third as stevie takes free kicks and pens

Torres 28
Gerrard 19
Keane 18
Babel 15
Benayoun 10
Wow, that's quite optimistic, based on our attacking prowess so far. We're talking all comps, right? If so...

Torres 27
Gerrard 21
Keane 15
Babel 9
Kuyt 7

Torres 31 (just wait until he hits top form)
Keane 22 (once he starts scoring he will score more than Stevie and he has a fantastic record over the last few seasons).
Gerrard 17
Babel 12
Kuyt 10

Yossi 8
Riera 5

Are you suggesting Andrew......

a) Gerrard will have a scoring sensational season

or

b) Torres will have a bit of a mare

I think they will both get between 15 and 20 league goals.
I just fancy gerrard to edge it this year.
I think Keane and rieara will benefit Gerrard way more than torres.

OK, PL only...

Torres 19
Gerrard 14
Keane 11
Babel 6
Agger 3
I'd be very surprised to see Agger outscore Alonso, Riera, Benny AND Kuyt. I'd also be surprised to see our fifth highest scorer only get 3 goals.

Serious question, what were our top five in the league last year?

I say Dirk will score more than Benayoun.
Dirk hasn't scored in the league since November.

Last year, Yossi scored 10 goals in 44 appearances. Dirk scored 7 in 41.

You really think Dirk can turn it around and get to double figures?

I would'nt want to wager if I didn't.

It starts this Saturday.
ok mate, a friendly wager of 5 (rand for you/ shekel to me) to a local charity to whoever wins -

who scores more goals, all competitions included. You will be starting with a 1 goal lead.

It was half in jest - I don't actually think Agger will score three goals - but I would be surprised to see Xabi, Riera, Benayoun or Kuyt score *more* than three league goals apiece.

In answer to your question, last year's top league scorers were:
Torres 24
Gerrard 11
Crouch 5
Voronin 5
Babel 4
Benayoun 4
Kuyt 3

Looking at the Voronin stat, I heard he played 19 games, a lot not as a starter, in an injury ridden season, and he has absolutely no fans. He should at least have some, that's not a bad record.

Torres 20 (27)
Gerrard 14 (22)
Babel 7 (11)
Yossi 6 (9)
Keane 7 (7)
I bet you 5 shekels that Keane will score more than Yossi. No, I actually bet 10.

Not sure if anyone else has pointed this out to you, but you've claimed (rightly) that Dirk didn't score that many in the league last year, then you claim Benayoun got 10. Fair enough, but 6 of those came in the Fa Cup and Champions League against the worst teams in those respective competitions.

Level playing field please mate.

LTW, wanna have a friendly wager?

I say Dirk will score more than Benayoun.
I'd be tempted to take that bet. But then I doubt Benayoun will get half the minutes that Dirk will get on the pitch.

Who scored more goal in the premier league? Yossi had 4, Kuyt had 3 ... And let's not forget, Kuyt scored one with his knee (against Newcastle if I'm mistaken) & 2 from the spot ...

Btw, when Gerrard had his monster season during after the Champions League, did you ask people to cross of his TNS goals and goals against shite teams? I mean, I think Yossi has outscored Dirk in int'l play too and in fewer games.

So what, only goals with your feet (and non dead ball ones at that) count?

You're being selective mate, and you know it.

Last season, they both scored a toal of 11 goals. 6 of Benayoun's came against fucking Havant & Waterloovile and Besiktas. Our two easiest games of the year.

This season Kuyt's scored 1, which is more than Benayoun. Hardly worth pointing out, but then if you really want the conversation to be as full of nitpickery(?) as this, then so be it.
