It is going to be a tight and ever changing battle at the top between Us, City & United i feel. United are performing pretty much as their norm but we have regressed this season due to injuries and City had a blip but now look much better.

We need to get a good run going again.

The biggest threat to liverpool is klopps stubbornness in the transfer market. No centre half means no title. Hope we aren't talking about this come may
How do you know its Klopp's decision not to go into the transfer market? It could be the board's. Besides, we (including me) were moaning about not buying any players, then the club buys 3 players, and we're declared favourites again. When asked about transfers, Klopp said he didn't know if the club would be able to get anyone in for Jan. Every club is loosing money, and will have to borrow. If we sell a player, then we can get someone in. Big Div is the only real sellable asset we have, and if we sell him, that creates problem for our attack.

Origi, Ox or Shaq could be sold with virtually no impact to the team given the number of games they play

Ox and Shaq have been injured. They'll feature from now on. Selling Origi is hardly going to fund a big transfer for us. And it's primarily a combination of FSG's wariness and the transfer committee's insistence on long-term development that is holding back transfers, not Klopp.

I dont think Jose or Pep have cup hangovers and players too tired issues like Klopp has.

Spurs maybe not but City were playing European matches in July last year when we were on holidays, they are also still in the league cup which we bailed out of early so they should be even more fatigued than us.

Spurs aren't, and don't need to play Son/Kane and other notable players in the EL, such is the terrible standard. They'll be largely fine, which is a shame.

[article]"It is a completely impossible position for a club to have three matches postponed, especially if that club plays in Europe," he said.

"We thought we might be having to play a game if we had only 14 players available from whole squad, including academy. We were prepared for that.

"We had positive cases. We cannot deny. Players, coaches, other staff. We have had problems.

And when asked, Mourinho said he and his side would refuse to participate if they are scheduled to play four game in a week again.

At the start of the season Spurs played two Premier League games, a Carabao Cup tie and a Europa League match within the space of seven days.

And Mourinho added: "The only thing we can say is that what we did in the beginning of the season is impossible to repeat and we refuse to repeat. We would never accept to play seven matches in three weeks like we did before."[/article]

Didn’t know scum haven’t lost an away game since we dicked em 2-0 last January, here’s to the annual Anfield loss.

Biggest threat? Or Strongest rival? That's two different things altogether. The biggest rival for us should still be Man City, but the biggest threat to us is ourselves. If we don't fix our own shit, we won't win the league. We are our own enemy.

Shaq an Ox have been impactful but are just too injury prone. Div has lost all interest it seems.
While I don't agree with your assessment of the Ox, Shaqiri has been ok. But I just can't see him getting much play time with a fit Jota,Keita and Minamino hence why we should move all three on...
Totally agree with your assessment of Origi

Thats a twat of a run. Still, optimistic for the an easier run in at the end

We will be Top at the end of all that.
Matip fit

Thiago strutting his stuff

Jota will be back in time for the crunch matches
