On this performance I don't see anyone stopping them. Man City's definitely running away with the title.

I have no idea what I want out of this match. Except injuries. Many many injuries. Some red cards would be nice too.

Any result is a bit shit though. I suppose a draw would be best. Perhaps a high scoring draw that shatters defenders confidences with sending off & injuries galore.

I would like to see another fan suffer a kick to the head. Perhaps one of the disabled ones in the front row, only because it would draw the fullest extent of the public's outrage.

I'd settle for anything that causes Mourinho's head to explode

Well this is far more open than I expected.

I suspect it's far more open than Mourinho would like too. Utd unable to intimidate Chelsea so far. I expect Utd to start kicking the shit out of Chelsea soon to break up their rhythm of play, regardless of whether either side takes the lead.

If Everton get beat again today, I can see them in real danger of relegation. Which would be absolutely hilarious.

Hmm, I think Mourinho may have miscalculated here. He's trying to out attack a very good attacking side.

He'd be better sticking to his usual plan of death by football, at least for a while.

This is a dangerous & uncharacteristic gambit he's playing.

Yeah, I doubt they will go down. But they are really bad at the minute and they have absolutely no pace in their side. Teams as good as, or even better, than them have gone down. Would be funny.

IMO everything depends for the bitters on whether they can fetch a decent manager in, which in turn will hang on whether or not they're prepared to spend even more after having p!$$ed away such a large amount in the summer. If they don't persuade Allardyce or Dyche to sign, I think they well might go down.

Hahaha. The thought of Everton having to try to persuade fat Sam to manage them amuses me no end.

He defo wants the job, he conducted a virtual interview the other day by laying out how he'd turn their season around. I didn't read it.

He does, but appaz Dyche is still the bookies' favourite. I wonder if even Allardyce would take it without a decent wedge available to strengthen that squad.

EDIT: Just checked the odds. Someone said the above on the radio yesterday but Allardyce now heads the betting.

I had a debate with my bluenose mates when Koeman was sacked. They were convinced that they're a better proposition than Leicester right now ( I agreed that they were a bigger club historically), and they were mocking Leicester for appointing Puel. They were adamant that they would be getting Tuchel in, or even Ancelotti. I said Dyche, Moyes or Allardyce, and if Tuchel turned Leicester down, he would definitely do the same to Everton. They had no chance with Ancelotti.

Sadly, since it's come to light that the three I mentioned are the frontrunners and Tuchel's odd have lengthened, my phone has broken and I can't gloat. They also got beat by Leicester in the meantime.

I had thought they might get a point there if their players tried to impress Unsworth, but they were abject.

Shame innit.

I think Dyche would be well-advised to stay at Burnley where he is exceeding expectations and there is a happy atmosphere.

He should bear in mind the incident in 2010 when Owen Coyle left Burnley for Bolton Wanderers in rather unsavoury circomstances. Coyle explained that it was a "football thing" that others would find difficult to understand. He only lasted a couple of years before being sacked by Bolton.

Yeah, unless Dyche has been promised a hefty transfer kitty there, he should stay at Burnley and wait for something else in the summer.
