Man City’s boss run is one hell of a padded record. Like the blueshite early doors.

Whilst the lines are parallel. I believe the lino called it. So that for me would go into Officials Call bucket for me.

They don’t. The pink line touches the black line at the bottom. It doesn’t at the top. And the Lino call only applies if the whistle is blown before it crosses the line. Did that happen in this case?

[OptaJohan] 4 - Jizz Hornkamp is the first player to score four goals in an away game in the Dutch Eerste Divisie since Robert Mühren in 2014. Eruption.

Yes, that's his name.

That's not true.

In old school world there was plenty of times where the ball crossed the line then was chalked off because that flag was up.

I didn't see it but I read that the flag was up.

Not in the VAR world. Only when the ref blows the whistle play stops. Not when the flag is raised.

Play has never supposed to stop when the flag was raised, it has always been the whistle alone that can stop play

I think the point is that the linesman did flag this one, so in a pre VAR world the goal would still have been ruled out, unless the ref decided to overrule it, which would be extremely rare

The non "parallelness" of the lines only benefits the defending side if the dotted line is correct (parallel to the goal line) and the solid one isn't. If it is the other way round the attacker actually gets the advantage ... that said it does expose the degrees of arbitrary and approximation involved in the technology

Yes, like Everton’s earlier this season. Their best start in 107 years or something. When loads of people were wanking off to them.

It’s their longest ever winning run in all comps and blows everyone else out of the water this season.
To play it down is just bitter bullshit.

I hate how much money they have but their recent run is superb. We lost the right to belittle it when we lost to Burnley and couldn’t beat WBA and the like.

He's been outstanding. Yet again.

Brighton have pretty much played Spurs of the park. Wont be easy playing them on Wednesday.
