An absolutely stupid rule for team sports. If this was Argentina, Messi would have missed the best years of his career.
If I had had to serve National Service (I was in the Royal Navy anyway until a motorbike accident) I would be totally pissed off if someone got to forego it because his profession was a sportsman whilst I was (for example) an electrician. There has to be equality not elitism.

Napoli look a much inferior side now Jorginho has left, they dont really have a baller in that midfield.
Let's not forget Napoli won their opening two games and even against Sampdoria they edged possession and had 18 (4) shots to Sampdoria's 9 (3), with Sampdoria scoring two worldies. Sometimes it just goes against you regardless.

As an individual sporting star/sensation, the person is likely to affect the economy far more than an electrician or most other jobs. I'm not talking about tax on earnings but more the media coverage which leads to massive view rates during competition, which leads to sponsorship, also leading to infrastructure development for said sports, employment through that, the effects that will have, etc.
I speak from living in Japan, but I imagine it's also easy for you to understand given it'll be similar in China with renowned sporting stars. Maybe more than Japan.

All irrelevant in my mind. Should we give breaks to people based on how much tax they earn for the Govt. ? Not in my book, that's not equality it's elitism and a kop out (and I'm not au fait with Chinese military service other than knowing there's no national service here, it's a career choice).

We can forget about that 9 mill...

I think thats the most annoying thing about this twat. He can make a save like that one in the first half thats as good as any keeper. Then fucking run off when hes supposed to be in goal.

Its laughable how bad he is.
Hes the jammiest cunt alive to have had the career he has had.

Well yeah, better economy = better conditions for those that work in the military.
I don’t hold involuntary short term military service (but significant amount of time for those with short careers in their own field) any higher than other careers, I guess in the same vein you don’t see much importance in supreme athletes / national heroes compared to electricians.
