Other games thread April 12-13

Bournemouth one up against Fulham since the first minute and it’s been all Fulham since. Cracking game. Boring/weak league my arse.

I don’t like Kerkez’s face.

That’s my only concern. He gives me Moreno vibes in terms of intelligence.
I think we have been really spoilt with Klopps Gen 1 likeable lot. We are gonna have to accept some of the new lot aren’t going to be that smart or have any sort of personality past football. As long as don’t see Kerkez and Szbo turning up at some Orban facist rally anytime soon, thrn best we could hope for with this lot…

Seeing Robbo’s recent struggles makes me sad - he is a top character and one of my favourite players of the Klopp era.

Also it makes me nostalgic for the time when both of our full-backs were pretty much best in the world in their positions and were destroying teams week after week, competing with each other for assist records and taking the piss out of the opposition by pinging the ball to each other multiple times per game. I wonder how soon, if ever, we will experience something like this again.

Robbo really looks like his legs and concentration have gone. Its sad to see.
Its Fabinho all over again.

At this point you have to wonder if he's even good enough to be a back up. His leadership and influence off the pitch is extremely valuable though.

Yeah, Robbo is one of my fav players. I would rather always remember that version of cheeky, non-offensive, joker with amazing ability above that now. Hence why wouldn’t have minded, if Mo had left this summer as we would always remember that version. How lucky have we been to seen the players that have played for us over last 10yrs?

This is kind of emotional, but I agree 100%, he is one of the main characters that started the Klopp Era and that team that won it all as much as Virgil and the front 3 of the time. I actually dont think he was bad the other day, it was VVD's fault and I think right now every slight fault is under a microscope for him. Lets not ever forget he was probably the best LB in world football for about 3 seasons or more at least.

Huijsen looked every inch the best in class CB prospect too last night (including playing out of position as RCB).

Probably why like him as well. Comfortable on both sides. One of the best CB prospects out there.
Really hope we sign him.

I think he’s good enough for a back-up - after all, we’re winning the league with him as a starting LB. Hopefully his concentration will improve with fewer minutes and as he gets more used to having to do with less pace.

Agree. He's put in a number of very good performances this year. The struggle has been linking them together consistently, especially when playing more than one match per week.

He has been a big part of the title win. But the last month has felt like he’s more of a concern in type of reliability.
We looked instantly worse at the back when he was subbed on against West Ham.

Probably good enough as a back up. But don’t want him to play to many games next season.
