Other games thread April 12-13

2-1 Barnes with a simple tap in.

Livramento is a fantastic player, either FB position and he'll pull a performance out the bag.

If we hadn't ended up with Szobo instead, I would've said bullet dodged.
Er Sorry - but even with what Szobo has done for our team - we can safely say that we dodged a bullet - if we had signed Mount under Klopp he would not even have played - he would be fucked after like 2 games, as he could not even manage the less intense football of Eric Tenhag. No - we dodged a fucking bullet alright.

Also for those constantly moaning about Szobo - lets be honest - all our midfielders have contributed to us winning this potential title. Mount has won fuck all for United thus far, and hardly featured for them.

Yeah Amorim is doing the opposite of steadying the ship. Dude is making airholes in the ships bow thinking it'll make it go quicker.

Speaking of bullets dodged, leads me onto Amorimjob. Dude is getting paid the same as Arne and Utd had to pay more to release him from his contract.
You have a point - but there is a certain pressure that comes with being United manager so they should be paying top dollar.
I am holding off on laying into him, he has done well against Arsenal and us this season with some of the shit players he has available, I don't expect much from him next season if they do not buy sufficient players to play his style more, but the season after I will proper lay into the cunt.

Tbh I imagine the higher ups were hoping he'd steady the ship, maybe get European football cemented, and then they'd back him in the summer.

Even if they get CL by winning Europa league; who would go to them?

Haha I actually feel sorry for him - I mean just look at the state of the squad he inherited. Just LOOK at it. He's fucked for 3 seasons at least.

Agreed. My bet would be that, once he saw what a bunch of total wasters he was going to have to work with, he knew there was no point trying to get a tune out of many of them and decided to do it his way, using the failure of individual players to adapt as a reason to get shot of them.

Ten Haag has turned Man U into Everton.

His signings were a disaster but he was on a loser from the start anyway with that squad. To what extent is anyone to blame for not succeeding in a job which was impossible by its very nature? Replacing Ginsoak was always going to be a mammoth task for them, but the depths to which they've fallen in the process have exceeded my wildest dreams.

Amorim with 1.10 points per game for Utd. That’s relegation form in a season when the bottom 3 aren’t as bad as they are this season.
They’re insanely crap and he looks clueless playing a 3-4-3 with a bunch of players that don’t fit the system.

Hiring Ange would be the surest way to get relegated for a smaller team - in this league you have to be able to defend to survive. His team would do a Southhampton.

His personality and ability to alienate fans surely means that he's finished in the PL.
Even Roy Hodgson has more charming presence.
