It's doing it's job, can't fault it.
Well not today at least.

Worlds most expensive defender celebrates scoring the winner in the World Cup final for England ffs.
You seriously suggesting that Maguire deserved to stay on the pitch?
That celebration annoyed me.
Are you saying that If a player walks off the pitch and hits another player taking a throw in (remember that player too is off the pitch) then it is not classed by VAR as Violet counduct by because the players are not om the pitch..?Hmm, Very silly from slabhead, was intentional but how much of Batshauyi does he get? Couldve been a red but I think as it happens off the pitch helps var.
Hey worked against Firmino...Are you saying that If a player walks off the pitch and hits another player taking a throw in (remember that player too is off the pitch) then it is not classed by VAR as Violet counduct by because the players are not om the pitch..?
I know that it can't be what you're saying, and the fact that it is the same ref makes no difference, as there were two different results to the two incidents
Was not this one of the reasons for VAR...Red Card insisdents..?
Why did they not ask the ref to look at it again...?
And should there not be a retrospective red card..?

These aren't questions for a supporter.
I'm simply giving a possible reason why VAR didn't judge it to be violent conduct and therefore a red card.
Between the ref, lino on the near side & 4th official, they should've spotted it instantly. The incident occured near enough in front of the 4th official.
