Admittedly I've only seen him in one full game and in a few highlights from another but this lad looks something special.

He single-handedly tore Denmark apart last night during the U17 WCs in Mexico and he did so in very special fashion scoring all of the Ivory Coasts four goals. He scored their goal against the Aussies as well - a game according to Roopy where the Elefants played another good game overall.

Absolutely brilliant on the ball this Coulibaly, impossible for the Danish defenders to keep track with - both with and without ball - fierce shot, looks like he's two-footed and has got blistering pace. A real menace.

I must admit that I'd be very disappointed if this young lads name doesn't figure in our scouts notebooks - especially after his performance so far at the WC. The fact he's actually on the books with Italians Siena should make it more likely we've heard of him on beforehand.

The Ivorians in general unlike other African teams are not that dependable on their great physique alone they are very clever players too with fine skills and good movements. Their team looks very balanced and I wouldn't be to surprised to see them go along way with these talented lads.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed we'd be in for a lad like this one, he certainly ticks the young and talented boxes.

On a slightly different note I can understand why Lucas Andersen, been to two trials in Liverpool already, is still playing with AaB and not on Merseyside.

Despite promising signs he's not living up to the hype.

Cheers KHL sounds like one to watch indeed.

He always got control of the ball no matter how they played him, and most of the time he used it wisely, ghosting by a defender or two before hitting it hard and precise towards goal.

Such a direct player that he almost reminded me of a younger Suarez.

Build more like Kalou than Drogba.

Watched those goals didn't look like a pen to me though

It wasn't.

They'd still won the game I believe, made the Danish defenders in particular look like even younger youngsters.

Someone, I want to read rumours linking us with this lad ASAP.

Scored another hattrick last night against Brazil and looks the real deal.

He's on 8 goals in three matches for the Ivorians who's bagged 8 goals in total so far.

He's like a machine that's shitting goals.

Goal-machine if you like.

So far Fabio.

TBF the first goal against denmark was pretty good
Keeper looked a bit clueless but still most impressive run up against the best CB from the Danes. Haven't seen Holst (the CB) been left stranded so easily before and he was beeing tormented by him all game long.

Did I mention that his first touch is class too. I can't get enough of those clever first-touch players. They should go to to Liverpool.

i'd agree with that.

hopefully he's not 27

The Ivorians in general doesn't look beyond their age to be honest. Most of them are build like young Kalous or Kolo Toures.

Look at that first goal of his. Oh my.

And the second - clever finish.

Oh his scissor-kick, his third goal of the game, isn't too shabby either.

*going to order the new kit with 'Coolball' printed on the back*

WE NEED TO BUY HIM!

Real Madrid have been linked with him
Comolli needs to work his French socks off to secure this one.

Frogs and Wine on me if he succeeds.

We really need to play cooly bally here then.

*It's Monday, I'm excused

I want this thread to end up with 20+ pages with posters from around the world giving their probs to Comolli for tying this one down.

Have you just.... like.... come across a young Dane that you don't rate as the next big thing...

*gasps*

So far Stevie... so far... you cheeky sod 😉

You know mate I only rate a few of them. But those I do rate I hype and speak up like they are biggest thing since sliced bread. Or something. Can't help it.

Eriksen > Messi

NB I work in Advertisement, I talk things up.

Ha, I wouldn't go that far but he's one of those players who's quality is just so obvious.

I'm just glad we can agree that he's got a special talent that lad mate. Despite beeing a bacon-loving, Carlsberg-drinking LEGO collector something something Lurpak-over-Margarine lad.

For the record just so you don't think I've gone completely bonkers:

Messi > Everyone

He just looks a cut above everyone else whenever I've seen him play (which is admittedly only a handful of times).

People who don't watch much footy would still be able to single him out as the best player on the pitch. Very obvious talent as you say.

Will be interesting to see where he ends up, I certainly haven't given up hope of him going to Liverpool one day. Albeit Barca does seem to have the upper-hand these days.

It can change though and as I don't think he's thinking about leaving Ajax just yet who knows. Kenny can do a lot of magic in two years time.

Not sure if this is the article from a few weeks ago, it seems to have re-emerged today

Liverpool defender Daniel Agger has hailed boss Kenny Dalglish and assistant Steve Clarke for reviving the team’s fortunes last season and believes the duo can go on to achieve great things at Anfield.

Dalglish has been widely praised for his level of performance since returning to management with the Merseyside giants last January, taking over from Roy Hodgson with the team languishing in 12th place in the table and leading them to the brink of Europa League qualification.

Having originally assumed the roles in a caretaker capacity until the end of the season, both Dalglish and Clarke have been rewarded for their efforts with three-year-deals, and Agger is in no doubt as to the level of the duo’s impact at Anfield.

“It is a different way of playing football,” the Dane told Liverpoolfc.tv. “The training sessions are enjoyable.

"People talk about confidence and it is such a big thing in football because it can change from one day to another.

"The main change is about being positive. Playing positive football and that's the biggest difference."

Agger also believes the presence of Dalglish and Clarke in the Liverpool dugout promises a bright future for the club.

"I like Kenny's playing style and I think it suits Liverpool,” he added. “It suits the football club and it suits the fans.

"I was really happy he and Steve Clarke signed their deals. Steve has made a big, big impact and he is really good. I can't say enough good things about him.

"Kenny suits this club. He knows everything about it, and the fans know him. It's positive for the future."

Cheers mate just read it myself two mins ago elsewhere.

At least now he can't blame the manager then ;D
