Whatever.

He's already admitted to being biased, why would I even want to wind him up?

But again, whatever.

I know he has ... but he still gets hounded by it non-stop (even when he just takes the piss out of himself) by a few people ... if only he had warned our scouts about agger's fragility ...

De Gea is first choice for A.Madrid and won the Europa League last season.

But yeah, I'm sure he'd be the one to sit on the bench whilst a keeper from a nothing Norwegian side starts. Makes sense.
You are aware that it wouldn't be the first time Ferguson has bought a keeper from a nothing Scandinavian club right?

Right then.

As you were.
That would of course be legendary Danish goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel who had this to say about Utd signing Lindegaard

Schmeichel, widely recognised as the greatest goalkeeper in United's history, was asked whether his compatriot Lindegaard was of sufficient quality to play for England's biggest club. "No," he replied. "We are talking about Manchester United here. You can look at talent, you can look at young good players, [but] you don't want that, you want someone who can go in straight away and give performances in 80% of the games that the number one choice goalkeeper will play for Manchester United.

Firstly I don't agree with Schmeichel one bit when it comes to Lindegaard and apparently Ferguson doesn't either. Time will tell who's right and who's wrong of course and he could end up beeing a flop. From what I've seen of him I doubt it though.

Secondly why would this be any different with a 20-year-old De Gea whom for all his praise still is avery very young keeper. Actually someone please do tell me how many 20-year-old keepers that are playing regularly for any of the biggest clubs around?

I could give you a hint of course but that would be cheating.

The only concrete fact we have is that one keeper is already playing for a big club at a high level and winning trophies.

The other is Lindegaard.

If I hadn't seen Lindegaard play I'd agree with you.

Still I can't think of any 20-year-old keeper playing as preferred first choice at any of the big clubs around. It would be a major bet that I'm not sure Ferguson is willing to take.

Whatever it is, I hope he's crap.

I'd be sick if the Scum got their hands on a top 'keeper.
If he goes to the Scum, I hope KHL is dead wrong as you say.

If he goes elsewhere, who cares! 😉

Well, I've not seen him play at all, so maybe there is something about this guy, who knows.

Either way, it's probably a pointless debate as I can't imagine they'll sign both.

Where's the shake-hand avatar of old when you need it.

*insert shake-hand smiley*

Apparently it's six month for Lindegaard to impress otherwise they'll look to De Gea or Lloris.
