Morning everyone. Please take your seats.

I shall begin.

Alisson - 9 - Hard to undersell the impact of the ‘Big yellow wall’. I know 9 is a high score for a keeper who has inarguably cost us 2 goals out of the 3 (or whatever) we have conceeded so far this season, but its all the ones we havnt conceeded. Its the first time in a decade I dont assume we are going to conceede every game. Unflappable in 1 on 1s and brilliant in starting the play. Love this fucking guy.

Robertson - 8 - Another brilliant season so far from the tireless pasty skinned jock. I genuinely think his distribution and crossing has been lacking compared to last season but hes still banged in a few assists. What a great player.

Virgil - 10 - Flawless half a season. What more could he have done. Cannot fault his work at all.

Trent - 7 - In and out of the side reflecting his in and out form, but all in all a strong effort from our first choice RB

Lovren - 7 - Hes a cocksure wanker, but his numbers have been excellent. Is he Virgil? No, but he compliments the big man quite well.

Gomez - 9 - Cant think of a game hes put a foot wrong. What a partnership this looks with Virgil. Could be 5 years of dominance.

Milner - 9 - Maybe only a 7 or 8 every game but a 9 for the sum of his parts. Long may Mr 500 continue

Henderson - 6 - Frustrating at times then he goes and bangs in a 9 performance. It feels as though, the quality of our side is about to leave him behind, but I cant say hes been anything less than a model professional.

Fabinho - 6 - Been a 7 the last 5 weeks but a 5 before then. Looking a cracking signing right now to be fair.

Wijnaldum - 8 - Much more hit than miss this year and kept us going at the start of the season when we looked disjointed. Doesnt grab the headlines and others have now gone past him in performances but on the whole a strong effort.

Keita - 5 - Bang average showing so far bar one or two BRILLIANT performances. Clearly there is a player in there, but mentally he seems a bit fragile and is like that guy who feigns a Hammy to get off the pitch when your subs havnt turned up and things dont look good. I think we will start to see the real Naby next year.

Shaqiri - 8 - Some stunning cameos and important goals, hes learning the Klopp way very nicely. Never going to be a first team starter week in week out but what a squaddy to have.

Lallana - 5 - Pretty pointless so far. And like Hendo, as our squad improves he will be the next to fall by the wayside

Salah - 7 - As hes hit his stride this side of winter hes become a straight 9 but he was fucking annoying early season. He was greedy and average in a lot of games. Great to have Mo back.

Mane - 8 Infuriatingly some weeks but mostly has been the pick of our attackers

Bobby - 7 - Maybe this is one point too many given the goal and assist return, but he isnt playing up top most weeks now, so his numbers were bound to drop. His workrate hasnt however. Love Bobby. But he needs to start scoring again if he doesnt want to end the season a 6

Sturridge - 6
Clyne na
Origi na
Moreno na
Matip - 7

Jurgen - 8 - was winding me up early season. But what the fuck do I know.

Behave Andy.

For a mid term Jurgen gets a 10.

19 games - 16 wins, 3 draws.

10 I tell ya 10!!
Yup. Best start to a season since when? 7 goals conceded, have scored more at this point than last year’s crazy attacking team.
Jürgen should be a 10, no doubt about it.

Knocked out of the Carling Cup 1st time of asking.
3 defeats in 3 aways in Europe.

In the league it would be a 9.
Overall an 8

10 will be end of year when we win something.

But this is mid-term scoring. Nothing to do with trophies won, all about what we’re doing to get there.
Qualified for CL knockout round, best ever start to the league in decades. Best defensive signings imaginable.
Go on, change it.

We are out of a quarter of the trophies we compete in.

If the argument is give him a 10 because we havnt lost in the league, it has to be said we have lost 4 games in total.

If it was just league I guess a 9 would be in order. Its a season tho, in total.

8 so far for me.

Yep, Jurgen is a 10+. Would any of us have preferred a Carling Cup win instead of our league (and CL) achievements ?

Think also a bit harsh on Hendo. He was playing to orders up until the last few games, when Fabs' presence has allowed his game to expand noticeably.

Yes, from HT in the Napoli game Hendo seems to have polished off the old forward pass, and is now flashing it about everywhere with reckless abandon. He has been very good indeed. I think Fabinho's emergence has been good for him too, and especially as a new source of competition.

He has made up 25 points on City! That takes sacrifices elsewhere!

Also need to give credit to JK for finding a shape, approach and attitude to beat teams who park the bus. As they start to realise it is futile we will see more lower table teams coming to attack, playing back into our hands.

I think this is inspired by the fans giving the Pep-bus a hell of a beating and the team finally understood that the only way to brake down a bus is to torpedo it for the full ride. So kudos to the fans for that one😀

Have been saying this a lot lately. I think the Fabs competition and collaboration is great for him. Hendo will eventually get left behind as this squad develops over the next couple years but he has definitely improved in recent weeks and his pass yesterday to Trent was great vision and technique.

I doubt it's a case of Hendo improving as such. IMO it's more a case of him being let off the leash now that the real Fabinho's emerged to take care of the grunt work in centre midfield. If Hendo had really needed to improve in order to make that pass to TAA, he wouldn't have done so this quickly. The new deal he was given just last September, and Klopp's sky-high praise for the guy at that time, both suggest that the club doesn't actually see him being bypassed by others in the squad any time soon. Don't let Hendo's monomaniac stalker on here get in your head.

Ok I wasn't gonna say anything but since people are starting to jerk Hendo off here...

He's been OK, in patches, since he started feeling the heat from Fabinho.
But here's the kicker, people talk about shackles, but Fabinho has two assists and one goal in 3 games, why isn't Hendo producing from the same position?

The answer is simply, he can't play DM as I've said for like 4 years.
Of course he looks better playing further forward. Yes he seems to play it forward more often, but if there were shackles before, where the FUCK are those shackles when Fabinho is playing IN THE SAME POSITION!

I don't wanna piss on anyone's bonfire here but VVD gave a needless pen away against City. If Mahrez wasn't so shit there might be a totally different dynamic now. He loses a point.

9

If you read their forums, the despondent cunts seem to think their team never recovered from that and have been playing shit ever since. Had we not conceded that penalty, they'd have carried on as usual and we'd be trailing them in the league by a couple of points. It was worth rolling the dice with that penalty, because look at the upside of them missing, we're laughing now. VVD conceding that pen has done more to boost our title chances than any of his other deeds in defence.

In your eagerness to put the boot into the guy and try to justify your manic vendetta against him, you sail blindly past the fact that you've answered your own question. Hendo's been playing out of position, because Klopp reckoned he was the best option available for that position at the time, and the results we've got during that period clearly show that he was right. "Goals, assists, wah wah wah" - playground stuff. There's a darn sight more to it than just that.

TAW podcast that Keita has poor English and the club are not happy that he made little or no effort to learn despite having almost a year to learn knowing he had a pre contract arrangement In place.

This is an interesting take and I will mull it over whimsically at my leisure.

10 will be end of year when we win something.

League would be 11.

League cup we played a good Chelsea side.

CL we rotated for the league and came out of the toughest group.

9.99 but I like rounding up. 10!!
