What the fuck does Kenny do with Raul when Stevie is back.

We can all see that Raul's best position is the same as Stevie's just behind Torres.

If we cannot find a decent second striker on the transfer window is it simply a case of Stevie and Raul taking turns between playing behind Nando and being the more attacking CM?

Please lets not put Raul on the wing Kenny, he was a shocker there.

We could be seeing a decent signing here folks, I think he really has potential for us.

haven't we ruined enough players in the CM or Centre forward positions who can do a job out wide?

If he is a striker lets do something strange and play him there, if he is a CM lets play him in the middle.

I think this is one of our smaller problems, where to play our best players. Our big problems are who to play in DM, who to play on the RW, LW and left back. And how to deal with set pieces better. My guess is that at present, we'll line up like this:

You're really gonna need a DM in there if you're playing Stevie and Meireles together!

Stevie and Meireles are capable of playing in the centre together. We just need another striker to give Torres a hand when the ball is played upfield quickly.. They just need to be smart when making runs.

Against the bigger teams we should consider a more defensive style.. but i dont see why we would invite shite teams to pressure us when we should be trying to beat them into the ground.

It doesn't really matter if we put him besides a DM or Gerrard in these lineups, Ming would still be the balancing player in midfield and it would depend on a lot of things whether his role would be more offensive or defensive in a given game.

And isn't Suarez supposed to be just as comfortable as wing forward as centre forward? If so he wouldn't be out of position in a lineup like Buddha's here. He would be perfect as we'd get more quality on 'wing' and also a backup for Torres should anything happen(god forbid) to him.

This is how I see it, with Gerrard being slightly more advanced and given more freedom than Meireles. Unfortunately we need to buy a DM first because Lucas, Spearing and fucking Poulsen are so shit that we need to play 2 of them at once in order not to get completely overrun in midfield.
Hopefully we sign Suarez this month, add a good left footed attacker in the summer and bench Kuyt. But that's fantasy football like

I admit I don't know for sure as I haven't seen him play that much bar internationals and goals highlights but I thought he is just as comfortable as wing forward(so not really a touchline hugging winger)? I would be much less willing to stick our best and most influential player on the wing than him.

I don't know if he has, if he has and has proven he'd be as effective there(like Stevie has), then fair enough.

Lucas and Meireles with Gerrard just infront of them. Will be excellent.
