Still can't believe he didn't get booted after losing 6-1 to Stoke.

And not really sure why so many are falling over themselves for Klopp. He just seems a bit too 'flavour of the month' for me.

Why are we so convinced he's the one?
He's won stuff

Took dortmund from way down the league to double Bundesliga titles and made a champion's league final ruining madrid and city on the way. I think people shouldn't get too excited. There's loads wrong at the club and we hardly have a world beating squad, but Klopp should be a definite improvement on Brodge and that's one step in the right direction.

Reports in tomorrow's papers that at about the same time Rodgers was sacked there was a popping sound at Anfield and Joe Allen just disappeared into thin air leaving two little shoes and a pile of empty clothes on the ground.

Who's going to take care of his cock?

The man tried his best.

No matter what else any of us may think of him you cannot deny that.

The writing's been on the wall for some time, & that hasn't helped anyone.

I hope he goes on to find the right club & have a decent career.
I disagree, I don't think you can ever say that if your manager spends time in the back pages for his personal life.
I want a manager with 100% focus on getting us the league 24/7/365 not someone who only cares when he's in the office

[article]Speaking shortly after Liverpool announced Rodgers had departed, Wenger said: 'I am always sad when that happens because I think he is a quality manager.

'Unfortunately, the pressure is always bigger on the managers and to resist the disappointment's more difficult.

'I think he was unlucky not to win the Premier League. He was the closest certainly to win the Premier League of all the managers who have been working for the club.

'But that's the way it goes now and I wish him good luck. I am sure he will find a job again.'

Further support for Rodgers came from his former club Swansea, where manager Garry Monk was stunned by Liverpool's decision.

'I can't believe that. A very, very harsh decision. I don't think he deserved that at all,' said Monk, who played under Rodgers at the south Wales club.

'He is a top manager. You don't know what goes on behind closed doors but I was surprised.[/article]

Phew, he gets 29th February off.

Betting Suspended with a few bookies including Ladbrookes

Klopp is to be the next manager by the sounds of it...

So the knobheads will be calling for his head in 2 years then. Nice.
2 years? The trend was Christmas.

Oncy will, inevitably, declare some form of love, Ryan will take apart his tactics, Mark will defend him no matter what, JJ will say he's too young, a Modo replica will repeat ad nauseam that he's the anti-christ and the rest of us will just follow the graph.

What did he say?
How we had a team of decent players that any decent manager would of been successful with..

Gerrard Suarez Studge and the rise of Sterling and Coutinho, it was the basis of great team..

Brendans achillies heel was his inability to set teams upto defend, which of course was his job he was set to do and has been unable to succeed with and what probably lost him the title...

When you find Ian Wright agreeing with you any normal person would walk to the nearest mirror, call themselves a cunt and slap themselves. Not RedNinja though, the massive whopper. He actually boasts about it.
Whilst he may not be the brightest spark in the box, the lad had played football at all levels, so I would imagine he would know a thing or two about the game...

What's Kloops defensive record like?

I think Ian Wright is actually one of the best pundits. Not articulate, sure, but has something much more important: a strongly independent mind.

Almost every other pundit basically just spouts safe cliches.
