Watford striker Odion Ighalo is a £12m target for Spanish giants Atletico Madrid .
Ighalo, 26, has been a huge success in Watford's impressive start to the campaign and has caught the eye of Atletico scouts.
Nigeria forward Ighalo has already scored 14 goals and Atletico have watched him at least five times this season and are ready to make a summer move.
Atletico are looking for a new striker this summer as Jackson Martinez has been a huge flop since his £25m move from Porto in the summer.
Martinez has even been linked with a loan move to Tottenham and Chelsea with Atletico keen to offload the 29-year-old.

Atletico are confident that they could land Ighalo after making enquiries to his representatives and they are hopeful of doing a £12m deal in the summer.
Watford will be determined not to sell as Ighalo has formed a lethal partnership with Troy Deeney .

Can't see him getting as many games elsewhere. He's a guaranteed starter for Watford whenever fit; why would he throw that away for the A. Madrid or other bench?

Additionally, PL teams will be coming into loads of Tv cash next season, Watford should be able to hold onto him... IMHO..

You have a good six months and Liverpool will buy you.

Our scouts are utter pish.
Unearthing another Gem.
FROM MATCH OF THE FUCKING DAY.

Obviously the £12m price tag one has to question, but lets say he is available for £12m, surely that's a no-brainer? However I think the figure he would most likely go for is £25-£30m. If we are looking for striker in his price bracket who would better?
