I'm on my phone so can't post links. SSN and other sports news sites published 'front page' headlines announcing RVP and Denilson had signed new deals. I must have missed the giant photo of Bender next to the other two, or missed his name out of the article.
And £15 million over 4 years? Approx £80,000 per week? That would make him a higher earner than anyone else at The Arse, crazy talk.

I don't think you can use Bendtner getting a new contract as a way of proving your point and it's a bit of a strange thing to come to the board with asking for an apology.

I've seen him play a few games on the right this year as well as come on later in games as the physical option... and he's whilst he's been okay, I wouldn't single him out as any sort of star contributor for their side.

You're going to have to wait and see whether he gets a run in the side as a first choice striker and can start putting in performances that justify your massive hype on a consistent basis. So far, it still doesn't look as though that's going to happen in the near future.

I wasn't asking for an apology mate I was merely having a bit of a laugh really. My bad if that wasn't too obvious.

I know he hasn't proved his doubters wrong and he may never will all I was trying to point is that I'm not standing completely alone in my adulation for the young lad, and then I used his massive pay-rise as an example of this. He is still very young and I'm still tipping him for greatness mind.

Oh, whether his dad is full of it I don't know but what effect does it have to come out AFTER negotiations and make things up such as Barca, Inter and Bayern were all interested? If they indeed were after all I reckon that's another sign of him actually having made a name for himself already.

Anyways you're right with regards to him having the most to do still. But the raw talent is there. That's all.

I don't think I've actually used the Maradona-comparison but I'm quite sure I've gone way over the top in my praisal at times - that's often what happens when an argument turns colorless and we're only discussing in black and white terms.

He is obviously a decent player, but I think he is missing something. He is not strong enough to be the target man up top, although his size does allow for that development. And not quite pacey enough to fit in around a target man.

I know that doesn't sound amazing at all mate.

But I doubt that he's played the full 90 minutes in more than a handful of games and as he got his debute as a 17-year-old and mostly has been played out on the wing (in a Kuyt-esque role) he'll have a few 'excuses' if you like.
