spurs were average and chelsea at least played well and on that form would have given spurs a better game than we did (i didn't watch the utd game so can't comment on that). but hey why let that stop us from acknowledging we weren't good enough yesterday.
we clearly miss the forward passing and ability to spread the play of alonso. i honestly think we're gonna have to change formation else we'll see many more games where gerrard is dropping deep and torres left exposed upfront.
rafa infact said he expects aquaman to play further up than masch. the sooner he's fit the better. if lucas was man of the match then that's a reflection of how crap the others were rather than how good lucas is.
