Maybe the Pats should try and sign Ronnie Brown as QB...

ha ha ... not a bad day for the former Auburn stud ... 5 TDs ...

TO was very quiet, 2 catches for 17 yards but two improtnat plays (tackle on INt return and great block for Felix Jones' 60 yard TD run).

Romo - so so game but still did well.

barber was HUGE ... big big game 130+ yards and TD.

Felix Jones is reminding me of a young Marshall Faulk ... We are lucky we didn't pick that guy the Steelers ended up with.

NFC East = BEST division in Football.

Fuck the Cowboys, bunch of cunts.

On to a proper (!) team, and finally someone inside says they want Millen gone. Ford Jr, vice-chairman. Sadly Ford Sr. still doesn't agree.

He is 83, hopefully he'll hand over the reigns soon, as he has clearly already gone crazy.

Just move the whole sorry franchise to Los Angeles and start again.

Agreed.

San Diego looked a little more 'real' last night... remember, they got f#$!ing hosed by Ed Guns last week - They SHOULD be top of their division now.

Dallas will piss it through the first 2/3s of the season, but December brings some tough games, and we'll know far more about them then than we do now.

Right now, they look scary good.

One gets the feeling by listening to the Cowboys' players that all they want to do is get to December and prove that last year's 1-3 record and subsequent playoff loss won't be repeated. As I've said from season's start, we're a fantastic team on paper and we're good enough to win it all but it all depends on if the 'Boys' grow up when the pressure turns up.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now Mr Ford, you do realise I was joking about Parry....

Ha:

"Millen's exit comes more than seven years after the former linebacker and TV analyst took over one of the NFL's most mediocre franchises and made it the worst."

and another:

"Bobby Layne — who led Detroit to its last championship in 1957 — would still be the best option at quarterback if he hadn't passed away 22 years ago."

;D

Clay should have gotten rid of him years ago.

How much interest does the old duffer have in the franchise anymore? It won't get better until theres a change at the top.

Number 4 is astonishing.

I remember that but id forgotten he also did this.

"During the sudden death overtime fiasco, Mornhinweg also refused a penalty that would have given the Lions the ball after a punt, and the Bears promptly made a first down, and soon the winning field goal kick."

I'll defend the drafting of Calvin Johnson (even though Joe Thomas would have made more sense) because he's phenomenal.

the rest however are atrocious.

I'm still fucking thrilled by this news. We just need the following new ingredients now to start challenging:

chairman
chief executive
general manager
head coach
offensive co-ordinator
defensive co-ordinator
special teams coach
quarterback
full back
tight end
left tackle
left guard
center
right guard
left end
defensive tackle
middle linebacker
left outside linebacker
cornerback x2
strong safety

and we'll be ready!

And you're STILL not the laughing stock that my beloved Raiders are..!
[/quote]

hmmm aren't you a patriot?

Lived in Boston for years, amigo - I love ALL the Boston teams.

But I've rooted for the Raiders since long before I came to the US. If the Raiders played the Patriots, I'd cheers for the Raiders. That will always be the case...

However, what with my Boston roots and the fact that the Raiders are a day-time soap opera that sometimes plays football (very badly), my focus has shifted in recent years.

and oh yeah Avramico, I'm seeing some of what i said in our convo in you posts, makes me happy

Auburn stud 😉
NFC East best division in football (history) 😉

Im watching.
