NFL - Offseason, Draft & 2016/17 Season

I wish I could see the ref's face better, if I were out there I would be laughing my ass off.

I think excessive celebration penalties are ridiculous, only a handful of people ever have scored touchdowns in the NFL, it is not an easy thing to do, let that man celebrate. I know I would be doing something way more over the top if it were me out there.

It is the most stupid rule in college football and NFL.

Cowboys vs Redskins ...
Boys' opening drive ... great drive to the Washington 5 ... and as per the expected, FG ... 3s don't win football games Coach Garrett ...

I was going to post this ... I stopped with Church's INT ... We were the better team last week, but not today ... We got lucky - very lucky, but I'd rather be a lucky 1-1 than 0-2 like the Redskins ...

[article]If I was JJ, and I'm not because I probably understand football a bit better than him despite his title, I'd fire Garrett ... He's a good coach, but he's got serious risk aversion problems. 26 seconds, 3 times out and the best kicker in the NFL? Naaah, let the clock run out. Just got a TD and leading the game with momentum on our side? onside kick ... GREAT! Fire Linehan too ... He[/article]

Romo - is healthy - is our best bet to win though I'm very impressed with Dak. We need our two suspended DEs back (2 more games) so QBs can actually get a bit dirty while playing us!

Even if it was lucky its just great to go 1-1.

Dak is impressing. Elliott with 81 rushing yards and 1 TD aswell.

Yah but even chokers have one good playoff run ... 😉
Oh well ... it won't happen, so stop making me think stupid shit ... I can only dumbeldore for ONE club
Mate I honestly believe you ditch Romo things will change for you.
He just isnt good enough.

Yah, but two fumbles ... he was benched after the 2nd one ... He's not in college - gotta protect the ball much better.

It is his second game only. Go easy on him 😉 . He is a good talent.

How bad were the Bengal defense on the third Big Ben touchdown.

I agree that Romo is not the answer, but I would still start him this year and maybe next, let Prescott develop more without all the media hoopla, the last thing we need is for him to get caught up in his own hype, which is already getting out of control. Given the right upbringing Prescott could be the long term answer.

Big game on Thursday, Texans @ Patriots. I've been quietly impressed by Garoppolo, he looked average in the exhibition games, but really stepped up in the first game and a half.

Part of me wants to see Edelman be QB for a week, but we'd miss him as the underneath receiver, especially with no Lewis until at least November. Get through this game and they are well positioned, with the return of Brady and Gronk to come.

What on earth is going on with Seahawks? I know Wilson is carrying an injury, but still. Is it their usual slow burn start to the season?

Wilson has ever excited me. At all. Its always felt like he would fade away at some point.
No real reason for that other than I just think he will.

I think losing Lynch was a bigger blow than anticipated.
His wrecking ball style running was crucial to the offence they were using.
And they don't really have any star receivers either.
Lockett has potential but the rest of them are a dime a dozen in the league.
Defence is still sensational though and that will keep them hanging about come January.

It also doesn't help that a) Rawls isn't 100% and b) Wilson has a high ankle sprain, which is limiting his mobility (which is still not too shabby)

"Big Ben" in danger of becoming "Medium Sized Ben" if he keeps up his preseason diet and cardio!

*Not really, hes still a fat bastard, but just showing Oncey some love.

Well that was easier than expected. Patriots showing everyone if you take away Watt and Hopkins, the underbelly of Houston is still soft. Wilfork was their MVP tonight. Fuller V looks raw, but highly talented. On the other side of the field, Collins always makes the defence look much more assured. Gronk looked pissed off he wasnt on many snaps, but he wasn't really needed. Jacoby Brissett looks like a poor mans Cam Newton, but he's a rookie so I'll cut him some slack, the game was won really on Texan mistakes.

3-0 without Brady and Gronk? Ominous..

Bennet's blocking at t/e has been a massive asset for them this year too.
It's been overlooked by how impressive everything else has been.
Bill is a genius though.
They're just a brilliantly coached football team.

Anyone caught Louisville this year? Lamarr Jackson is the most fun you have watching a player not called McCaffrey. He dropped a piano on Florida State's head last week. He was tidy on his feet last year, but a genie must have granted his wish for a new arm over the summer, coz he's gone full Vick. He'll get nuked on Sundays at six one and two hundred pounds soaking wet, but Louisville play Clemson next week and that'll be fireworks. You know the Browns have already added him to their annual new QB dossier.
