I wonder about that. From which bottomless would the money come? Even PSG is having to resort to financial conjuring tricks to make this one happen. At this rate we're going to see the world's first 1 billion pound player in about ten years.
Barca > PSG > RMI think hes making a mistake
His personal banker kindly disagrees..I think hes making a mistake
I think this matter is a little premature. Right now, Neymar is a Barcelona player and we'll see what happens with him," Al-Khelaifi said.
We respect all contracts signed with other clubs and players.
"To be honest, I'd rather not to talk about this matter now. I hope to do it at another time. I prefer not to give percentages, everything in its time."
He's said his goodbyes to his teammates so seems like it, yeah..Is it definitely happening ?
I wouldn't mind seeing us get screwed if we got 220m.

I kind of agree, but whats the point if we cant sign replacements?I'd happily sell anyone in our squad for around half of that

Leaving Barcelona for PSG in a 222m Euro deal.
Madness.
Agreed.None
But we're acting like there are only two players in the world that could improve us.
The money is almost pointless though right? Its player tokens.Oh when the bubble bursts it's gonna be very entertaining. These fees need capping sooner rather than later.

Like Barca get 200 player tokens off PSG, lets say they give 100 player tokens to us for coutinho, and say another 100 to atletico for Griezman, we give 100 player tokens to RB for Keita, they give 100 tokens to Bayern for Sanches, Sanches give 100 to PsG for Veratti
Etc etc
Its all gonna be much of a muchness right? Its not real money its asset swapping.
Exactly. Like some ultra competitive sport I can think of where you pretty much get a different champion every year.Wouldn't it be more interesting if clubs had to trade players rather than sell ?
BREAKING NEWS
Potentially a big Neymar development...
La Liga have told Sky Sports News that they will NOT accept the payment from PSG to trigger Neymar’s release clause.
They are expecting PSG to visit their offices this afternoon.
A spokesman for the office of La Liga president Javier Tebas said:
"We will not accept the money for the liberation clause, the reason is that we have doubts that this money is in accordance with UEFA Financial Fair Play rules."
Neymar's buyout clause is believed to be €220m.
Now apparently its moot as UEFA are saying the transfer has fuck all to do with La Liga but how anti competitive is a release clause of 180m anyway?
Of course you're going to have to dodge FFP to get him in..
