Brazilian starlet Neymar has urged Chelsea to renew their transfer interest as he attempts to secure a "dream" move to Europe.

Neymar, 19, snubbed a move to Chelsea last season as he preferred to continue his development with Santos, but his progression in his homeland has been rapid and the forward is now ready to move abroad.

The Brazil youngster broke into the senior national team under manager Mano Menezes in August 2010 and [bthree goals in three games has put some of Europe's biggest clubs on alert - including Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus.[/b

But Neymar revealed that it is Chelsea's interest that excites him. Having spoken to Brazil team-mates David Luiz and Ramires, who both play at Stamford Bridge, he is eager for the Blues to make another transfer bid.

"I was very happy about Chelsea's interest because it is a club which every player would like to play for, but at that moment the right decision was to stay at Santos," Neymar told the Daily Telegraph.

"To play in Europe is my dream. I was very proud of Chelsea's interest and I hope to keep playing well so that this proposal can happen again.

"I know about players in England - Drogba, Lampard, Gerrard - these are very good players. I have spoken to Ramires and David Luiz and they say England is a very good country and London is a beautiful place to live."

However, the talented teenager is keen not to limit his options and has also hinted that the time may be right to try his luck at the newly-crowned Premier League champions.

"I know about these teams; Chelsea, Manchester - to play for them are the dreams of all players," Neymar said.

There is a €45 million buy-out clause in his contract but a switch to England would be complicated by the fact that Santos only own 60% of his rights. Third-party ownership is banned in England, so a suitor would have to negotiate with a number of parties.

I think he'd be out of our price range anyway.

Didn't the Rentboys get a £40m offer knocked back in jan?

£40m could be the best part of the cost of Young and Hazard?

Why do Chelsea need another striker?

Torres, Anelka, Drogba, Sturridge, Kalou
[/quote]

Chances are two of those guys will not be there next year.

I can see Drogba leaving to join Mourinho at Real.

Who else could leave?

I'm just not sure about your mate on this one.
At this point in the season, I'm sure most clubs will at least have started to sound out some targets, if not already speaking to the clubs & players.
With that in mind, I find it highly unlikely that we've shown interest in Neymar, otherwise I'm certain he would have mentioned us amongst the teams he'd be interested to join.
Either that or he spoke to us (or heard about our interest) and has absolutely no desire to join us.
