"it's nice to have three straight victories - you don't get that too often at this level of football. It would be nice to make it four".

I really hope he doesn't think 3 wins in a row is something to sing about.

Come back after 7/8 in a row and then we'll talk.

But Steven likes to play. He's like Jamie Carragher and Pepe Reina - they want to play. They don't seek rest periods. They understand what I'm trying to do but they don't seek it themselves. There's never any problem if I want to put them on. They are the first to put their hand up and say 'if you need me, I'm there', which is great."

Hmmm.

What "hmmmmm" Paddy?

No Torres mentioned. Usually in statements like this he is. Seems like a bit of a dig at someone.

I think you're reading a bit too much into it Paddy.

at least the self-belief is starting to come back, and the lads are starting to get addicted to winning!

Haha addicted to winning! They look like crazed, snarling smack addicts, they are so desperate for their next hit!

That would be nice.

in main stand surrounded by Napoli fans. Never seen anything like it

Surprised there has been nothing more about this.
There was quite a bit of trouble at the ground last night.
When we arrived in our seats there were Naples fans in them that had to be moved on . When we looked around there were hundreds of them.
It seems so I am told tickets were on general sale last night and they had sold a load to Naples fans before the silly bastards realised.
There were a few minor skirmishes in the ground.
I believe that some of the Italians were refused entry even with a ticket and they were kicking off outside the ground with police and officials.
A mate of mine who is a bobby had to stay on after his shift as extra police were drafted in and there was still stuff going on an hour after the game.
I felt embarrassed last night. These Italians had wrongly been sold tickets by the club and when they scored, supporting their team, Liverpool fans turned on them. There were two loons two rows in front of us having a go at a few lads, who were not causing any problems. The rest of us in the vicinity had to assure them that they were safe where they were.
My mate came down from the back and said it was worse up there.
There was a largish gang singing the old seventies songs at the rear.
I will be writing to the club asking why we and the away fans were put in that sort of position, you would have thought that we more than anyone would be sensitive to that.

regards

Re: Napoli cí.

The Ticket Office has some real explaining to do here, especially after the violence some Liverpool fans experienced in Naples.

I can't remember seeing anything so ridiculous and dangerous at Anfield since we sold Traore.

To be honest I think roy is on to something by employing the old 5 central midfielders trick.

Fucking mug.

He's only a few months in too,at least it took rafa 18 months to try crouch and voronin on the wings!
