Its not that bad. We'll wear it maybe twice all season.
This seasons kits in general have been good.

The kit isn't that bad but the gif and Sturridge photos are so cringe worthy.

They'll come back to haunt us.

Am I the only one that doesn't mind an adult wearing a replica top?

We have had this discussion a million times on here.

I don't know if it's accurate, and I'm biased, but I think some Liverpool fans have often been a bit snooty about wearing replica shirts to the match, and think it's a bit 'small-time day tripper'

Certainly when I had a season ticket, I didn't wear any colours at all and only wore the top when playing football. It was for kids and tourists to wear it to the match

Maybe it's rooted in away games, when you might not want to show any allegiance in 'hostile' places ( a scarf can be put in your pocket) or the fact that we're a two club city.

Liverpool fans have always - and quite correctly - considered themselves a bit superior and above the Newcastle style full kit wanker type of shit

That said, seeing the crowd as a seething red mass is great too. And I would guess loads (most?) match day fans still wear a top to the games

That's just my take. I'm sure someone more hardcore than me can expound, clarify, or debunk that notion

It's a really embarrassing pose. Looks like he's trying to imagine himself on the cover of his own record, 'Da Grime Bizness' with some jail cell bars photoshopped in front of him

It takes a certain type to pull off that pose correctly.

I reckon I'm cool enough to get away with it

I wouldn't wear a Liverpool top myself, though I'm not anti it if someone wants to.

But if they get a name on the back we can't be friends.

Is the regular Istanbul banner on SCM homepage gone? All i see now is a user profile pic. ..

I wear a replica top during 5 a side. I'm an adult. Am I a wanker for this or not?

Confused

Wearing it while actually playing football is one of the grey areas into which fools fear to tread, in case the wrath of 6CM descends upon them

Good point. Although fearing the 'wrath of 6CM' is like a child fearing a new chapter of Harry Potter.

In my opinion they're ok for wearing at the game, playing sports/gym and maybe on a warm day with shorts. Personally I generally wouldn't spend that kind of money on something I'd hardly ever wear.

Oh, and CRINGE

On the other hand

Well there is a time and place. For example if you wanted to blend into the crowd at Wetherspoons... Or Aldi

*runs* 😉
So, when you're on one of your many holidays, you're never tempted to buy a replica top of the local football team? Or any other sport team for that matter.

Well for one I don't go on 'holiday' - I go on the odd 'researching' trip 😉

Second - Well yes I might have bought the occasional top. My favourite being the Urawa Red's home strip. That's boss. 😎

The kit is actually officially called 'Toxic Thunder' and says - no joke - 'Liverpool players must play like a lion' on it. 😵

F*ck me!

Just seen that. 'Liverpool players must play like a lion'? What the fuck does that even mean? Utterly pathetic and non-sensical.
