Massive regret for Spurs but then it was Levy and they always look above, way above, their current station. Roma learnt nothing. They got new owners at the back end of last year. Not sure how big their pockets are, but it could trigger more investment than we've been used to seeing.

I didnt say it was a good fit though, just that Roma might see it as an opportunity to have him for 2 years when Spurs pay 60-65% of his salary.
Even if he's outdated, he's still a massive football name that will draw maybe some better players to Roma in the short term.
Thats the logic I can see if I'm trying to think like Roma who for me is quite a conservative club.
