If you take it over 12 months Lewey has been the best player in Europe. Of the 3 he has collected honours with Bayern winning the title, and Salah and Messi haven't.
 
For the Balon D'Or, Mo's current form will make him a front runner for next year rather than this year I feel.

realistically I reckon Lewey will do it..but I’m ignoring that for now haha :singing:
 
I was watching a YouTube guy earlier discussing two alleged leaks of the list, one had Messi and the other had Lewandowski top. The fishy thing about both was how low Salah was, don’t think he was top 3 or 4 in either.

He won Copa America in Brazil against Brazil breaking a long losing streak for Argentina.
He was player of the tournament and led every attacking stat. Add that to the fact he scored a shed load of goals in a poor Barcelona side and he’s a big shout.
I’ve heard Lewy has won ahead of Messi with Benzema third. Salah got 4th.

The Balon d'Or is an individual award. I never get it when people say Player X won the World Cup or CL or domestic title (in a weak league playing for the dominant team) or whatever. So what. He didn't do it alone. If he starred however that's a different argument.

Let's look at all an individual's performances - no matter the competition - that is what the award should be based on.
 
I don't really care who wins it now that Ronaldo is out of the picture. Prior to that it was just anyone but him.

id love Salah to get it, because Salah would love to get it I’m sure..
He loves making history and trophies and deserves to. And I love to see the delight on his face when he achieves 😀

The Ballon D'Or is given for the season prior right? If so, why would Salah have any chance of winning it. We were poor in the league and the CL last year, and Salah had a good, but not spectacular season (31 goals in all comps).

Frankly, Lewandowski should be the winner hands down - scored 48 goals, won everything domestically and also the CL the year prior (the season for which the Ballon D'Or was cancelled).
