MLB Off season 09/10 & Regular Season 2010

He's pitched us tough usually ... so I'm hoping we can jump on him early enough to dent his confidence and get into their bullpen.

To be honest, the Yankees, bar one inning, have been playing off the park in these 3 games ... We should really be playing tonight to clinch a sweep - let's hope the bullpen meltdown in game 1 won't come back to haunt us.

Their offense is hitting less than .200 apparently.

AJ has been all over the place this season too, I know he's capable but of all the Yankee pitchers to possibly face I'd love to face him given his recent form.

I'm watching the other game now, finally a day game ! Cain v Hamels.

Rangers POUND the Yankees 10-3 ... They're now up 3-1 ... 1 more game and the the Rangers will be in their first World Series!!!

Yeah but you've still got Colby Lewis, and then Lee in game 7. You've also gotta think the Rangers offense is going to start knocking a few in. CC is giving up hits

Treanor homers ....

Congrats to Avvy and the Rangers.

Rangers were just too good pitching and offensively for the Yankess.

Yankees' much vaunted offence did squat.

Nice ....

Anyone see Halladay's latest performance ? Strains his groin in the second inning, refuses to leave the game but needs to change his throw to be able to continue and he still wins the game. Gotta love the attitude.

True.

On that topic the 30 for 30 on the Red Sox win had footage from Kevin Millar's home video, showing Schilling's ankle.

How the fuck he pitched on it is anybody's guess.

Has that been on over here yet?

No idea.

I just heard that bit is in it and it's never been seen before

Giants beat the Phillies.

Congrats San Fran.

Giants vs Rangers in the World Series.

Linecum vs Lee?

*smacks lips*

I think this will either be over very quickly (i.e. a sweep) or 7 games ... the teams seem very evenly matched.

Ha ha! That only covers 50% of the possible results a team can achieve...

ha ha ... 4 or 7 ... you can take 5 or 6 ... whoever wins, can be the playoff guru for 2010! 😉

I read an article yesterday that pointed out how many of the Giants had a good record against Lee, so maybe it's not that unexpected. But 6 earned runs was more than anyone could have predicted.

If Cain continues as he has been doing this postseason then the Ranger might be in trouble

Talk about being Nova'Cain'ed.

It's odd - the Giants were having a very post season hitting and now 20 runs in 2 games? Well ... I want to believe the Rangers can win 4 of the next 5 but the odds are against us ...

Definitely ... where was the Giants offense all year ?

Just watched Sportscenter - 12 times during the season the Giants scored 1 run or less for Matt Cain. Ridiculous.

Rangers win game 3 4-2, thanks to 7 2/3 innings from Colby Lewis. 4 runs come courtesy of 2 long balls ... Neftali Feliz becomes the 2nd youngest player to get a save in the world series, passing one Nolan Ryan.

Down 2-1 ... Does Washington stick with the rotation (Hunter) or go with Lee?

Ryan threw a 68 mph pitch, lol.

Would be interesting if Rangers start Lee, that means he can start game 7 too!
