MLB Off season 09/10 & Regular Season 2010

Yeah.

Phillies pitching peaking at the right time, esp Hamels and Oswalt.

Halladay, well, has just been so consistent over the season.

It all really depends on how the pitchers not named Cliff Lee can handle that line up. I expect Lee to win 2, if not 3, in a 7 game series. If Wilson can pitch as well as he's doing today, or if Wilson can up his game, you never know.

I don't expect it though unfortunately.

Rangers win, 6-0 final, they now have more postseason wins this year than in their entire franchise history.

Hope you're enjoying this, Av... You deserve it.

Dallas if f$&!ing buzzing at the little Rangers right now, and it's great to see. I would luv to see them go all the way this season.

i decided after i missed game one and we won, that i'll only follow games on ESPN.com's gamecast! Superstition I tell ya!

My uncle and cousins in UT say the same thing ... everyone i going crazy.

Tampa Bay keeps its hopes alive.

Yankees sweep the Twins AGAIN. Excellent pitching by Hughes; but Wood almost fucked it up.

Bad news: Have a bad feeling about tomorrow night, Av. A really bad feeling. They WILL lose.

Good news: The last time I felt this sure of a baseball result was October 20th, 2004.

ha ha ... can you have that same bad feeling for the Cowboys for 10 of the next 12 games please? 🙂

I don't know what we'll do - I'm leaning towards a loss but who the hell knows.

I was in detroit at the time. Not only did I predict the sox to beat the cunts 4-3 when 3-0 down, at 3-0 I also said a damon grandslam in game 7.

I didn't put any money on it 🙁

Game 6 was the best most terrifying non-Liverpool sport experience ever.

Fixed that for you.

I spent EVERY pitch of game six about 12 inches from the screen, waiting for Curt to slip and send an off-speed one straight down the middle. I also thought for just a fraction of a second that the straight on fastball that Keith Folke ended the game with had actually been hit - It would have won them the series. My heart stopped.

At one point, I realized that Amy was right beside me, watching ME, not the game. "You know that you've been rocking back and forth and mumbling to yourself for a good five minutes, don't you?", she said. I hadn't a f$%!ing clue. Andie was sick at the time, so she gave her too me, hoping that my endless rocking would send her off to sleep. Within seconds of her giving me Andie, we got a run, so, even when she'd fallen asleep, I didn't put her down, until the game ended. How she didn't go through the window on that last pitch, I'll never know.

Woooo Hoooo

The Rangers have won a playoff series!!! Friday vs the Yanks at Arlington and Whad and SG are hoping the Rangers win too! Priceless

I don;t get into baseball that much, but Cliff Lee is a fucking beast.

He is gonna be the highest paid pitcher, maybe player in Baseball next year.

shit. I'm watching a replay of the game now, I knew I shouldn't have clicked on this thread !!!!

I'm at the top of the 8th. CC looked very vulnerable in the game.

ha ha sorry ross ... well, we blew it in the 8th but it's promising in one way - we just hammered their best pitcher. If we can win game 2, then I'm confident with Lee going in game 3 in the house that babe re-built.

Yeah but when you've got them on the ropes you've really gotta knock them out. That's a big opportunity missed. Imagine how nervy they would have been if you had won that game.

Halladay v Lincecum tonight. Possibly the best pitching matchup of the season.

Lincecum did the business against the Phillies last night, to put them 1 up in the series. Did anyone see his comments afterwards ?

He was getting whistled at because of his long hair, and he took it very well

Wow - sidd is alive.

Lee with another phenomenal performance ... 8 innings of shut out ball with 13ks ... Rangers up 2-1

I can see why there were rumours that the Yankees 'deliberately' lost games towards the end of the season in order to avoid the Rangers in the ALDS.
