just 4 times in the premier league mate, one of those was for handball at Fulham last season and 1 was for swinging a punch at Alonso a few years back, so thats 2 red cards in 15 years of pretty horrendous tackling. Im sure he has a couple more in Europe but hes one of those that if it warrants a yellow he gets a warning and if it warrants a red he gets a yellow

I loved Carragher clattering Pienaar in the first 30 seconds and then taking retribution on him after he'd "done" Mascherano. For a minute I thought we'd gone back to the 80's where this was all part and parcel of the game.

Wasn't a pretty game but its not often, we outmuscle teams who try and bully us so it was a good result. What Fellaini tried to do to the Greek was outrageous, but then the tackle coming in on him was pretty hard core.

Presumably the ref didnt see fallaini's stamp on the Greek. If thats the case then Im surprised there hasnt been video evidence used.

I was just thinking that. While they're at it they might consider increasing Pienaar's punishment for that outrageous tackle on Masher which could easily have broken his leg.
