Tell you what Henderson has done a perfect impression of a prime Gerrard today, some of his passes have been sublime, bursting forward at will, non stop action from him and a great goal.

They have all been fantastic.

A few points -

* 2-0 flatters Spurs - it should be 3/4-0 already. we are playing great football

* STerling is playing his best game this year and in quite some time ... keep feeding him..

* Henderson is playing great. He's got license to do as he pleases and he make such smart runs time after time. Granted, they're shite at the back but great performance from him so far. Goal & assist. Excellent stuff.

* @Gerry_A_Trick - you see why I said it MAY be a blessing in disguise? Long may it last ...

The only way we lose if if we shoot ourselves in the foot with mistakes, nearly did in the first half once or twice, Johnson worries a bit in that respect.

But, we're only half way. Biggest job is in the second half. We need to work hard, press, be smart and not take any stupid chances. We dont have to go for any Hollywood balls all the time and lose posession easily.

They'll go for it for the start and we have to be ready.

Regarding the Soldado goal. Shoulder to shoulder that's one thing but that was shoulder to back. He pretty much pushed him over. Of course its a freekick, the commentators clearly don't want us to win. Don't listen to that tripe. They also slagged off Suarez before he scored.

SECOND HALF musts - just don't stop running ... Lucas-Allen-Henderson will be the key. If they can maintain control of the middle, we'll get 2-3 more goals.

I don't know about being outwitted - I think he basically has been performing as he usually does on his terrible days, i.e. not really putting in much effort to deny crosses. Thank goodness Chadli's crosses haven't been that good so far. Skrtel's been pulled out of position a couple of times to help cover for Johnson.

If he's not arsed, I'd rather we play Kelly. It's not as if Johnson's regularly adding a lot to our game up front these days.

Gerrard's still a special player for us, but my goodness are the midfielders putting in a shift tonight!
If they keep it up and we win this game they should be fucking proud of themselves and it'll hopefully give them a massive boost for the games coming up.
Suarez as busy and great as ever, Sterling scaring the shit out of them with the ball. Just wish he'd passed to Suarez instead of keeping the ball and fucking up on one occasion.
Mignolet is a great keeper but my god he's shit at footy.
