Matip was great there, so was Allison obviously. Fabinho added the extra height for the inevitable last few minutes onslaught. Everyone played their part, apart from Mane who was wasteful and Firmino who looked off the pace again.

Salah is SO close to being back to his best but his passing in and around the box is still bizarrely bad.

Mane - I don't know what to say. He either finishes superbly or he can't hit the target. Tonight was the latter.

Shame VVD got booked but what a commanding performance.

Robertson, Milner, Winnie - incredible stamina, incredible work.

Becker - absolutely superb.

A hell of a night, and what a victory this could prove to be for our season.
