Anyone know if we get a % of the transfer fee ?

Chilean winger Mark Gonzalez looks set to move to CSKA Moscow from Real Betis.

The Spanish second division club confirmed on their website that they have agreed to sell the 25-year-old to the Russian side.

Spanish media reported that the international, who joined Betis from Liverpool in 2007 for six million euros, will move on for a similar amount

His impending departure comes after Betis were relegated from the Primera Liga last season.

I hated Gonzalez and the hype he built up.

Just hearing his name gets me angry.

I feel quite the opposite. I always liked the guy although I was so desperate for him to do well and he flopped miserably. He also had unreasonable expectations on him which didn't help his chances here.

I hope he does well at CSKA.

Yeah the expectations were ridiculous.

Why Benitez pursued him for so long was a mystery.

Couldnt care less where he goes, but just wondering if we are entitled to any of the fee. We have a debt to reduce dont you know

I don't get why anyone's bothered; a few hundred grand won't make much of a dent in our debt

It was tongue in cheek and referring to what has apparently been happening to other fees received

He ripped Real a new one when on loan at Sociedad, also helped em avoid relegation single-handedly.

The 'Chilean David Beckham'. Knew he'd be shit and it would all end in tears when I read that.

So?

Not many thought that he'd be a flop once he'd come to us, I remember. Hence the 'ridiculous' expectations. Footy fans are fickle, no fan gets EVERY prediction right.
