I know Balotelli did not score goals we wanted from him, but I think it is worth thinking if he could play in Klopp's system, I mean he did move more than Benteke, and I am sure he was faster. We are in a desperate moment with the injuries - lets be honest - our priority is:-

1) One CB - temporary even
2) A temporary striker that provides more movement than Benteke

I agree with Klopp - we actually have talent in this squad so why do we need to buy more players at this stage of the season. Crazy I know - but think about it for this second half of the season.

I know "absence makes the heart grow fonder" but that stuff about Balotelli is just nuts, mate. He "moved more than Benteke" only occasionally and the main criticism of him was often the exact same one of lack of movement. I also suspect that Benteke's immobility is due to lack of game intelligence rather than laziness per se, whereas Balotelli's is very much due to the latter - basically he just can't be @rsed. There is not a snowflake's chance in Hades that he'd suit Klopp's system. Fortunately I'm sure Klopp will know that better than anybody.

Not saying he is ideal - and personally I couldn't stand him Judge, but what hope do we have with just one full time striker available at the moment ? - Klopp is right regarding his explanation on what happens when all are fit again ? - so why not just try the lazy shit and give it a go. He was trying under Rodgers to move and stuff when he did play, and his game intelligence is much better than Benteke's by miles. He is also better at controlling the ball in tight spaces than Benteke.

But Reina making mistakes during his first three years wasn't much of a concern because we knew how brilliant he was and that his errors weren't usually caused by being a weak gimp, or from being a professional player with the game intelligence of the lowest of amateurs.
All keepers make errors. But Ming not knowing when to kick short, being to scared to fight for the ball for crosses, being slow off his line, not having the quickness of mind and bottle to start quick counter attacks, having the kicking power of a 13 year old are all traits of a seriously shit footballer.
Good shot stopper. That's it.

We as fans destroy our goalkeepers if we even think they have a weakness. Reina use to make lots of errors, but his frame and character were such that he did not give a FUCK what people thought of his mistakes and certainly did not let the crowd affect his emotions on the pitch after he made mistakes. He had that ability to ignore his last mistake and just get on with it. I remember us destroying David James after a few corner errors, then we destroyed that chap that GH bought, then despite Dudek's heroics we also destroyed his confidence. We are good at that - personally I think the way Ming has been doing lately is fine - just leave him alone and let him get on with it.

Him having a degree has fuck all to do with anything.

He's clearly not able to improve himself as a GK despite being coached on it 5 days a week.
