I don't think it'll be as bad. Chelsea will always have a chance, as will Arsenal and ourselves if certain things are sorted out.

The problem with these 2 is the sheer quality as well as depth of attacking players they both have.

Whereas we have Suarez and hopefully Gerrard and to a lesser extent Downing, City's options are unvelievable. United have top quality in Rooney, Hernandez, Nani but their style of play is equally as influential.

Man City are doing their best to disprove Glock's axiom about class players in every position. It's fucking fantastic that some pantomime villain oil oligarch fairly easily bought the league, and this lead his Middle Eastern equivalent to think, "I could do that".

I am a little surprised at how well Manchester United are playing at the moment - I mean I thought our win over Bolton at home was good but their win away from home to beat them 5-0 is something more. I do have this feeling though that we will give them a real fight and City too. Football is a strange game when it comes to comparing teams but what I see is that both Manchester teams seem to have teams that can quite easily overcome the teams that are not expected to do well and also those teams that can play rough. On the other hand I get the feeling we are more equipped to beat teams that play a more attacking style by playing, we really need to learn how to beat teams like Stoke away from home and at home.

Two horse race for sure. Both have the most expensive squads so it's hardly a surprise is it?

The pace and movement the Scum have on the flanks and in attack is fucking frightening and that's basically how they won today.
...Let Bolton come onto them, won the ball back and killed them on the counter...terribly simple but effective.

As for City, they're looking in good shape which you'd expect given the £££ they've spent.
