Manchester UTD VS Liverpool Match Thread

1 point away against Man U is not too bad. Losing a lead due to an offside decision not so good.

There's always a chance of that happening at OT. It's a part of playing that lot.

There was a time we wouldn't have been given the penalty...

That's my point. I'd have preferred Klopp to have left that comment out TBH. Perhaps he was just tired.
Reading the summary there it sounds more like he was explaining why the players were so tired in front of goal, putting it down to the change of playing style from Utd being hard to deal with.

Frustrating game that because a lot of players made poor choices in great positions. Wijnaldum did it about 3 times and Firmino and Lallana too.
We had so many opportunities where the right pass would have put us in and we fucked it.
I thought the kid Trent looked well well out of his depth, and I thought the midfield 3 gave the ball away poorly a lot.
The CBs and Ming were brilliant and its GREAT to see Coutinho back because he was the class act on the field.

I thought the ref was very poor, and they were very lucky to finish the game with 11 men. They were thugs and that Herrera cunt needs a fucking broken leg badly.

Oh and 600m odd of players and all they have is hoof it to the big lad.
Useless cunts.
Are you Big Sam in disguise

Does the entire media not recall how they played at Anfield? And they let Mourinho come out with this shite?

Good result given our injuries, although the manner of their goals rankles.

I will say this though. Points-wise and fixtures-wise (who we have left and where), we are in a great position. We can only control our performances and if we post up a tally of 85+ points at the end of the season and don't win it, you just have to say fair fucks to whoever does win.

It's just a shame Chelsea have had exceptional, almost unheard of winning streak and it had to be this year.

I think many of you are harsh on the kid Alexander i mean a debut away to man united and he didn't like freeze or something.
I actually think he negated Martial and later on manu were direct not playing with wingers .

I thought Martial was poor. He should have done more against a kid.

I think we would have won had Clyne been in.

Arnold couldn't cope all game.
wtf ??? I mean seriously? For a young kid I personally thought he had a pretty decent game. You have to remember where it is he is being thrown into. Also, how about thet performances of morse senior players ( Wijnaldum (again!), Lallana, Origi ) who were not very good at all.

He did well for a kid. It wasn't good enough today. You don't seem to be able to comprehend that distinction.

I thought he lost Martial a few times and got caught out once or twice. He let Rooney cross too early for the goal too.

As opposed to the time half way through the second half on the left of midfield, and a crossfield ball found a manc in acres of space due to Milner having been pressing up the left?

Wasn't that move started because Arnold lost the ball in a silly position? If its the move I'm thinking off, then Milner was in exactly the position he should have been in.

We look such a better side with Henderson back in that role.

Played through pain to be out there too. Good captain.

I said before the game he was the most important player to come back in and so it proved.

Looking at the Plymouth game I think TAA is the only kid who could have come in and played a game like that and survived.

Ya he had some poor moments but overall thought he did really well

I dont think its harsh to say he didnt play well. He didnt look ready for first team action.

That said he wasnt the worst on the pitch.
We seemed to hang on to the ball too long today.

Bit gutted about the result. We didnt play to our best and let them have the ball far too easy

Lovren saved his arse a few times though.

We didn't play our best, but we did play better than we have recently

It's a start
