Surprised Paris St Germain are not in for him. Loads of cash and a big name player desperate for a move away from England.

First things first, we would need to make sure there's a decent Argentinian restaurant in Liverpool to keep him happy.

He's a good player, take him on a 6 month contract and see how it goes. Sure, what's the worst that could happen?
With Carlos Tevez? I cant even imagine....

He can fuck right off if you ask me. At least with Carroll, even though he's usually shite, you know where you stand. With Tevez in the squad, you'd NEVER know where you stood with him.

Having said that, he's a great player, and partnering Suarez would be a 'mare for defenders as someone said. But we need someone who'll settle with the club and not try to jump ship 6 months down the line.

I'd be delighted for him to jump ship 6 months down the line for 30M after helping us qualify for the CL. It means we'd have 30m to spend on a player who wants to play CL footy for a legendary club. Everyone is a winner.

Not saying he's saint or will be perfect but I think there were similar concerns over Adebayor when his name was being discussed earlier in the summer.

True. But knowing us, we'd lose money on him
Well we're certain to lose money on Jimmy Nail anyway, so what have we got to lose?

Sky Sports News aren't half desperate - they keep banging on about this Tevez-Carroll swap. Never going to happen.
I seem to recall people saying something similar this time last year when SSN first reported that Torres was on his way to Chelsea.

And Kenny was kind of denying that too!!

I'd take tevez on loan for definite. Absolutely nothing to lose, well apart from around £200,000 a week, but sure who's counting.

kenny denied torres was leaving? I don't remember that at all.

Barwick wouldn't be spouting about it if they were interested though, would he?

However, you'd have to question if he has the authority to just dismiss such a proposal out of hand over the phone. Wouldn't he need to run the proposal by other people at the club?

Brian Marwood, sir.

Barwick, although a red, is probably not involved.

Oh YEAH, Mister ?!

I reckon we offered it.

Dalglish was given the opportunity to flat-out deny it and he didn't take it, instead told the journalist to ask City for info, which sounds like he was pissed off the told everyone.

A committed, working Tevez would probably see a turnaround in our fortunes similar to what we saw last season.

He's trouble on a level no other footballer I can remember is trouble; Anelka, Cantona, Diouf - nobody ever bought trouble like Tevez does. That said, he could help transform our forward line massively and, for 5 months, surely it's well worth the risk.

tevez on loan to liverpool makes sense for city because;

a) it get's him off their wage bill for 6 months.
currently he is earning 200,000 a week for fuck all

b) it gives liverpool a better oppertunity to take 3 point of their nearest (only?) rival

but kenny has said nothing is going to happen in or out, so that's that.

I read somewhere that the whole saga has cost him personally 8 mill pounds so far, hence I think he is not receiving any wages as long as he stays away?
