Though finishing second and a European trophy, the fans are not warming to him. I wonder how long he has left?

A lovely big implode and full mental break down would be lovely next season.

Hope so. But he also might spend another £200m and make the team even better; even if it may well be filled with even more highly-paid expensive players who are approaching 30 (Willian, for example).

Either way, the pressure is only increasing on the horrible twat.

I was with a Citeh fan this morning and he was on about how him and his mates want us to win as it puts the icing on a humiliating season for Maureen. Hmm.

Hmmm. I get that sentiment, but it still wouldn't be enough for me to want that to happen if I was a City fan, because then Liverpool would overshadow their season too

If Man Utd falter at the start of next season and their anaemic football fails to get results - it’ll unravel pretty quickly.

They did finish ahead of us. most united fans still back him

There's been a large minority that never wanted him - and they've not gone away. For the club it would be a step too far to sack him now, but if he doesn't move them forward over the next season he'll be toast. If we emerge as title challengers that could seal his fate - as the quality of our football has not gone unnoticed by the thinking elements of their support base!

We should hope that the sour-faced tosser stays there as long as possible.

The corporate lot won't care less. They just roll up, eat and drink and then piss off again. I doubt many of them even watch the game. So no problems there.

Then I suspect there's a large but silent group of fans who know he's likely to win stuff, keep them competitive, and not stay too long, so they're relatively happy to sit it out tolerantly.

I'm not sure how big the serious resentment is, but I'd be really surprised if he was in any danger. He's utterly charmless these days, but as has been said, he won two trophies last season and finished second this season. It's hardly a disaster. It won't undermine the club commercially.

What I will be intrigued to see is how he copes next season without his pitbull Faria. He used to rely on that ghastly bloke to leap to his defence whenever he was winding up the other manager, as well as patrolling the training ground monitoring the players. He'll be a bit more exposed without him.

The man is a self-seeking, serial winner. It must hurt to be an also ran and trophyless , I'd expect him to walk if more of the same occurred as opposed to the club sacking him . I guess that's reinforced by the fact that he's never had longevity , its been major success followed by/ at the expense of fallout

He is clearly disturbed by the noise around him... You can see it by his statements. He is bothered by the critic, and it doesn't help that everything Pep or Klopp does is louded by the media. He will break early Next season. The interesting thing is that the United supporters will behave like nothing happened when he leaves. Somehow they are world champions in denials. They saluted Pogba, then at a world record sum, With an own hashtag and solid backing. And after two Seasons were he haven't been even Close to the team-of-the-year they behave like he was some singledigit signing from Scotland. Same With Sanchez, or De Maria, or Veron or who all these megaexpensive players they brought in and failed to deliver. They keep on lowering the expectations to what they can deliver and then they celebrate that they delivered marginally better. If we brought in VVD and he played like Lovren against Spurs we would be outragious. But you never see that With those cunts. It is fucking amazing.

My Evertonian mates have said they hope my plane crashes on the way to Kiev.

Trust no one who says they want us to win. Its all bullshit.

Surely the best scenario would be for you to travel safely, watch Liverpool lose, and die in a plane crash on the way back?

Typical Bitters, never think it through.

I can understand his irritation about Klopp and Pochettino being media darlings, despite not actually winning anything and finishing below him this season.

Which is why it will be great to watch his lip curl so much his face turns inside out if we beat Real on Saturday, and the pressure really WILL be on.

Even if he can be irritated regarding Klopp and Pochettino, it is quite amussing how he just can't hide away how much he reads every News story and is obsessed With them. Really show his narsissism. He have picked a few "fights" With ex United players by attacking what they were supposed to have said in the media. It is fucking crazy!

If he didn't have anyone or anything to berate or be snarky about, then his press conferences would be about 30 seconds long.

Yeah suppose so. They aren't the brightest or friendliest lot. They love me really though.

We would have finished above them if they had made it to the final and we'd been fucked off out of it when they were.

Well, qualifying through the weakest group ever, and then being beaten at home by the weakest of the remaining teams shows that this is so Utopia that we shouldn't even mention it.

Aren’t they looking at about 30 mill £ in compensation if they do sack him now?
He’s safe after coming 2nd and winning two trophies last season.
But I think the pressure is on for a title challenge next season, and every Utd fan I know is as tired of his behaviour as of their turgid football.

The stupid thing is.... they havent actually understood the fact that it takes time & a constant manager to build a quality team.... How long did it take Fergie to get it right? 5 years or something.... and even then thats no guarantee.

Most of their fans are people who have jumped on the bandwagon because they were glory hunters... and now that they arent the best team they dont understand actually how to support the team in the best way...

They should really take a look at us as a good example, as we are the only club who have had a similar experience to them.... learn from how Liverpool have done things good and bad... but no, they seem content to throw money, change managers and basically be fickle idiots with a major sense of entitlement.

I think we as Liverpool fans have learned over time that success should be enjoyed and that when it comes be humble and respect it.... it is a special thing that isnt forever.

Until those dicks realise that they will keep fucking up...

Long may it continue.
