Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has received a double fitness boost ahead of Saturday's Premier League trip to Manchester City.
Both James Milner and Jordon Ibe, who have been nursing injuries, are set to be available having come through a full training session at Melwood on Monday afternoon.

Mamadou Sakho, Danny Ings, and Joe Gomez are all long-term absentees, while Jordan Henderson, Daniel Sturridge, Jon Flanagan and Jordan Rossiter are all yet to return to full training.

Sturridge posted that he was back in training mid-week so this seems a little suspect

Read somewhere that Klopp isn't going to consider glassman for the 1st team until he's completed 10days consecutive days of first team training. That could mean we'll never see him play for us again.
Hopefully have Hendo on the bench or something.

I'd go:

.................Bogdan
Clyne...Skrtel...Lovren...Moreno
.............Milner..Lucas
Lallana......Firmino......Coutinho
................Benteke

In a boost for Liverpool, Daniel Sturridge today took part in full training for the first time since suffering a knee injury on October 15.

Jeez Chrise, the stars are lining up(or something like that) and I'm going to IKEA, it's gonna be the greatest Saturday ever.

Daniel Sturridge 'ready' for Liverpool v Manchester City

Daniel Sturridge claims he is "fit and ready to go" ahead of Liverpool's trip to Manchester City on Saturday Night Football.
Sturridge, who is yet to play under new boss Jurgen Klopp after he suffered a knee injury before Liverpool's match against Tottenham on October 17, returned to training at Melwood this week.
Now the England international says he is ready to return to action and put his numerous injury problems behind him under the new Liverpool manager.

"I'm fit and ready to go and it's going to be a great time for me," said Sturridge.
"It's been great under the new manager. I've been back training for the past couple of days and I was training when he first arrived.
"It's an exciting time to be at the club and I'm enjoying working with him and the style of football. It's important for us to understand what he wants us to do."

Sturridge says he is encouraged by what he has seen under the new manager but admits recent results throughout the division show how competitive the Premier League is.
"I was on the outside but it was great to see the boys win at Chelsea," he said. "We had a disappointing result last time out against Palace but it's important to move on.

"The Premier League is the best league in the world in terms of competitiveness. There are teams up there this season you wouldn't have expected.
"It's up for grabs this season, there isn't a real favourite. It will come down to who can be the most consistent."

Edit: I'm actually not happy about the IKEA thing.

Sterling will score. We will lose.

Thats the spirit mate! 😉

You're probably right though. Shame we havent got anyone that can rough Sterling up a bit. Skrtel is probably the only one.
We've been alright away against the good sides so far under Klopp though. We might surprise a few people again.

I don't get the ikea thing. You don't have to make an appointment like, it's open dead late too, just go some other time.

Ikea deliver furniture. I don't know if they deliver their meatballs.

It was an attempt at humour. It failed, obv.

I like ikea, it's a fucking boss shop, but only if you go on a weekday in the early morning or late evening.

On a weekend it's full of nobheads & takes forever to walk around.

There's no way on earth I'd miss a match to go, that's fucking insanity.

I'm not going during the match, I'm not that mad. I've skipped a cousins funeral to make a game, still not forgiven and I still don't care. I'm just trying to convince myself to be happy at the thought of a soul destroying 4 hours on Saturday morning pushing a 'rapidly filling-up' oversized shopping cart behind a hysterical wife who is mumbling things like " Oh look I forgot to put this on the list", " Oh, didn't know they had these", "Didn't we talk about needing a pair this, that and the fucking other".
But Saturday evening I'm looking forward to seeing Studge strut his stuff and showing how it's done. It's gonna happen!

Yeah, four hours is fucking daft. We're in & out within an hour usually. First thing weekday morning or late evening, only time you should go to Ikea.

I'm sat in ikea hiding from the rain. Their jambalaya is nice like but the place is unnecessarily huge
