Some nights are just wonderful.
Some nights remind you why you still.....STILL, at 43 still give a shit and tune in week in week out, still post on a fan forum you posted on in your 20s.

Some nights just make you super proud.

So happy.

Thanks for sharing it with us boys. Hope you are all as happy as me.

Wonderful. Two different performances both equally brilliant.

You're a good lad

That was one hell of a performance. Disciplined, committed and mature. And after all the flak our defending has taken, how many corners do we struggle with? How much better are we? That coaching deserves as much praise as the cock-ups received criticism. What a great night!

Fixed (in my opinion)

Alluded to that in the thread. Huff and puff from them. But overall, 2 legs, one goal against 5 for. Job done

Van Dijk apart from the 1st 2mins was great.

As was Lovren.

First half we lacked balls. When we remembered how to play football in the 2nd half, we exposed them again. Great result. The unbeaten streak continues!

Brilliant, just brilliant.

Such a courageous display, after inevitable jitters early doors. We rode the storm and then waited patiently for an opening, took it and then breathed a sigh of relief. Put our foot on the ball and well and truly took the sting out of City.

I'm loathed to agree with Ferdinand, but he echoed something I said a few days ago, these are the games where you gain your experience and learn things as a team, about how to cope with different situations. We went more or less 6 at the back for the last 15, which would have been more or less unheard of under Klopp a few months ago, but he's learned now that he can trust his team to pick openings and to not have to permanently go gung ho. The fact he feels he can now rely on his team to see a game out and be organised, speaks volumes about his and our progress.

Remember a time when corners against us make you feel nauseous?
