Edin Dzeko's representatives are in talks over the player possibly moving to Manchester City, Sky Sports News sources understand.

The Wolfsburg striker, who has been rumoured to be a target of several of Europe's biggest clubs, has been in prolific form for his club since joining from Czech side Teplice in 2007.

The 24-year-old was set to be new manager and former England boss Steve McClaren's prized possession if he could get hold of the classy target man, but it seems that City's huge amounts of financial resources could prise Dzeko away.

The Bosnian international's record of 54 goals in 94 games for his club appears to be enough to have persuaded City boss Roberto Mancini to part with the required funds to land the player, despite a wealth of striking options available to him.

If Dzeko is to make the move to Eastlands, it could spell the end of the line for some of his potential competition , with Roque Santa Cruz, Emmanuel Adebayor, Craig Bellamy and Robinho all rumoured to be heading towards the exit door.

Sorry if this is in another thread. Couldn't see anything posted.
These cunts are going to have some team next year. Lets hope continue with Lescott & Toure as their first team defenders.
Can't find an article about the Real lads, they're 'reporting' it on SSN.

Higuain won't go to City.

Gago, nah I don't think so either, not after how City and Mancini fucked him about in january.

Dzeko, yeah he could go there. Apperantly he has a release clause that is only active until monday!! It's 35 mill £..

Sky Sports News understands Manchester City are in talks with Real Madrid over the possible signings of Fernando Gago and Gonzalo Higuain.

City are looking to strengthen their squad over the summer after agonisingly missing out on UEFA Champions League qualification this season.

They have identified a number of transfer targets and appear keen to strike a deal with Real for Higuain and Gago.

Higuain has enjoyed a stunning campaign at the Santiago Bernabeu, although Argentina coach Diego Maradona recently claimed that Real had not contacted him about a contract renewal.

Compatriot Gago, who was linked with a move to City in January, also established himself as a key member of Manuel Pellegrini's team.

City would have to use all their financial muscle to prise the duo away from Spain but are understood to have entered negotiations with Real.

They are also thought to be in discussions with the representatives of Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko.

Would Mourinho sell Higuain? He'd be crazy.

Fuck I'd even take Adebayor. Ubercunt though, but an ace footballer.

Yeah, they've some good players alright. A few I wouldn't mind having.
But there is a good few guys on good money they could do with moving on.

Who'd have thought a couple of years ago we'd be eyeing 3 or 4 Man City rejects with relish?

Fuck me.

...and they still have to knit the stars into a real cohesive unit. Mourinho made that look easy at Chelsea. It isn't.
