A lot depends on how kenny has worked this week.

If he's done his job properly he's had downing whipping in crosses to Carroll with stevie showing him exactly as he did the other day. If downing can provide some of those deep quick crosses then Carroll will thrive on them.

Our bench is way better than our team.

True dat.

But Carroll was ace against city for us & Newcastle, also our defence is tight enough to keep it goalless until stevie & Bellamy comes on.
The defence is tight but it's no good if it's bombarded and without an outlet infront of it, that midfield and forward line is painfully average in the pace stakes, the ball will keep coming back at us and we'll buckle.
Downing does not have the ability to whip in crosses.

So Jon, you think our best chance of winning is Downing crossing and Carroll finishing it, even though that hasn't ever happened in the history of the entire world like ever.

Citeh:

: Hart; Richards, Kolo Toure, Kompany, Clichy; Yaya Toure, Barry; Milner, Aguero, Silva; Dzeko.

Fuck we're going to get murdered aren't we ?
I can't say I'm all that hopeful
Me neither particularly but most of those players lost to Sunderland two days ago, so you never know!

Statistically it's far more likely we'll score from Nani running onto the field, even though he doesn't play for city, and heading the ball into Kuyt's path for him to score a tap-in. Because that has actually happened once before.

Their front 6 would walk into our team.
Not so sure. There is a few spanish speaking people there and you never know what words could slip out from their mouths 😉

Ha, no, but it'd make it much easier for us if that happened. I'm fairly sure it'll have happened in training!

Can everyone stop moaning please.

3-1 victory.

That's more like it.

Quoted for truth

Ah well, i have a feeling this could be Downing's night. City should at least attack us and he might thrive on being ignored.

Carroll is only just taller than Henderson, so can we stop with all this 'Big man', 'big Andy' business

I'll go against my previous prediction of dooooooooooom and go for 2-2 (Carroll, Kuyt) with us to miss a penalty at 2-2.

Tonight will be Andy Carroll's night. Today is the day he becomes a £35million striker.

He prepared to be blown away by the single greatest performance from a striker over the course of 90minutes you will ever see in you life.
