Since i rarely watch any football other than us tonight was my first time seeing him play. He's very promising.

Excellent touch, works hard, looks comfortable on both feet, his movement is excellent, and he knows how to finish. One chance, one goal.

Delighted to see him get off the mark straight away.

Sorry , did anyone clarify if cole was injured or just dropped tonight ? Pity , if he was on form / not passed it , we'd have some pretty skillful players with him , meireles , gerrard and suarez . Oh we'll the other 3 will more than do.
